Why would someone say oh this fight was easy when your using a shield that decreases damage taken and depending on its guard if I remember correctly it decreases the amount of stamina lose Sure the fight was easy but once you get used to the fight there pretty easy tbh much easier than the other tree sentinels

the boss is an attempt of creating an artificial ancient dragon (the ones with small heads and lightning spears). It’s a troll and normal dragon hybrid, flightless and mortal, as well as no power over ancient dragon lightning, therefore considered a failure. Could be a result of mimic tear shenanigans but that’s speculations That’s what I heard, if I find anything more precise, I’ll change it up

The tree at the end, where a girl is sitting in the trunk of the tree, I don’t think that is Marika but, possibly Melina. Also because, we pick up her golden erdtree. She’s was the only one that does use this in game. Why else would it be here? Her purpose was lost, yet she’s a spirit visiting the lands between, urging you to burn her and the erdtree. And, Melina is able to bind the runes on us and that’s why we can absorb them in the first place. She was sacrificed, by Marika, her own mother, to split death and shadows from the elden ring, and become immortal. But, I think, someone else made Marika do it. An outer god perhaps.

This fight sucks and is badly designed. Arena is full of obstacles that make matters worse (destructible ones too that change over time) and that combo leaves even less room for attacking than some dlc bosses on top of being much more unpredictable. From should calm down with double boss rooms, most of the time they suck bad. This took me an embarrassingly long time to beat and when I did beat it finally it felt like luck rather than skill, just like the Godskin duo.
