The connections are not clearly shown. Eg, in Spark MINI, how do I connect? [a] Guitar (6.35mm) into Ulooper (6.35mm) in and Ulooper USB into Spark MINI (USB C at the back) or [b] Guitar (6.35mm) into Spark MINI (6.35mm) and Ulooper USB into Spark MINI (USB C at the back).

Granted, you “show” it properly. But you may want to also say that you “don’t” NEED to power up the ULooper with the 9VDC. I spent a few iterations with the 9VDC plugged in (thinking it was needed for the Update 🤷🏻‍♂️) Thanks, Joe

Two things about this... - Being able to change the individual effect using the footswitch is absolutely a game changer. Can't do that with a GA-FC. But some kind of indication of which effect you are using... the LED on the Airstep changing to the same color as the LED on the amp... would be very nice. - Can the footswitches be programmed with any effects we want to group together or are we stuck switch 1 being the booster group, switch 2 being the Mod group, switch 3 being the FX group, etc.? I don't use any of the distortions or overdrives in my Katana. It would be great if I could set switch 1 up to be say, either pedal volume or pedal wah. Can we do that or would I have one switch I can't use because it has nothing but boosters in it? I already have that issue with my GA-FC.

Two things... - Is there an expression pedal input or not? I've read that there is and I've read that there isn't. - Can the switches be programmed with whatever effect I want, i.e. can switch one be a chorus, wah pedal, and a compressor, and button two be a phaser, a harmonist and a tube screamer, button 3 be delay 1, and button 4 be delay 2 and reverb? Or does button one have to be boosters, button 2 modulations, button three FX, etc?

Hello xsonic! Is there still a sound issue with the spark 40 and the ulooper?

Thank you for this. One step I HAD to do was power the pedal then plug usb into my 40 THEN power up the amp. If I plug this looper up to my amp when it’s already on it does not connect correctly and the blue light never comes on. Weird. Anyway I was close to returning what I thought was a defective pedal. Works great after I got it connected prior to powering amp 🤷‍♂️

I just purchased the AIRSTEP YT Edition and would like to make a feature request: 1. If you had an app that the user could connect the pedal to, prior to them connecting it to the THR amp, that allowed the user to see a gui of the AIRSTEP YT and choose from a drop-down menu above each of the 5 switches what they wanted each switch to do. This would give the user much more flexibility and expand the functionality of the pedal. An example of choices for a switch would include: Comp Effect Echo Reverb Volume Boost Gain Boost Gain & Volume Boost Gain & Volume Boost + Effect Gain & Volume Boost + Reverb Gain & Volume Boost + Effect + Reverb Channel Up Channel Down Mute Allowing the user to choose from the above for each pedal would be huge and allow for solo guitar. 2. If the above request is to much for you. At least allow some kind of a boost to be assigned to a switch. For example, Mode 4 could be: Effect Echo Reverb Gain &/or Volume Boost Channel Up or Comp Effect Echo Reverb Gain &/or Volume Boost

I agree with the audio interface, not being a problem, but not having at least one more expression pedal input is a major problem for those of us who run a constant volume pedal with one pedal and maybe a delay level on the other or a Wah. I see that the AirstepPlay has a lot more going on, but I wonder if it can be used with the katana software that comes inside AirStep Kat? If somebody knows the answer to this question, I would be very grateful.🙏 I don’t know why in the world they would create such an incredible device for the katana and only include one expression pedal input 🙄
