That looked like a blast! A touch loose high speed? Did you notice a big difference after messing with the wing and diffuser settings?

Yeah well, i did practice a lot with GT5, but the 1st time in real life in 2014 i was an absolute beginner. But when you see it back like in this vid, than you start recognize where you are and (ofcourse) what you've could done better. Anyway, last year i did the Ring in 9:40min in my e46 320ci (170hp) stock, much better than my 1st time in 2014 with about 13:00min. I had a hangover as well that time.

I did the same last year. And, GT5 and even GT6, sort of help since you pretty much remember the view and some landmarks. I did 4 laps on a Fiesta ST and 2 on a E46 330. This year, came back for a second tour but this time 31 laps, starting with the same 330 and them moving on to a 350Z and a E46 stage two. What really helped was to watch the tutorial videos from RSR and the Taxi driver laps. Those guys definitely give you good tips on how to clip, which gear to use and so on. All in all, for a first timer, GT6 helps; however, going flat on Flugplatz and feeling the G's at the top of the hill not stteping on the brakes, that's another story....

Thank you for your comment. Cayman R is just fine to do a track day without any mods. Of course, if you put some money on, it could get quicker though... My R is just stock except for tires.

No they don't have any window rule like that. Only track using that rule I know is Eagles Canyon.

Thanks for you comment! I simply turn on sport mode and turn off PSM when I drive my R at limit. This changes the PSM setting and it WILL NOT interfere until the car enters real spin mode. I'm not sure what you mean by "the light on" but PSM off light is ON when I turn PSM off and sport mode light is on when I turn sport mode on. I hope this answer helps!!

Hello! Nice vid! Do you shut down the connector of G force or simply turn Off psm? I have some problem With psm Off and sport mode, the light is on

Thank you for your comment! I thought the camera position was OK at that time but it was mounted too high after all. I had a roll cage mount and tried it but thought it was too far back. I should've used that position and cropped the picture when editing what I absolutely do that next time!!

Nice drivin! Week ago i did 2 laps in the swift stage1. My impression also that hundreds of virtual GT5 laps i did helped me out greatly there. As i see you where much less fearfull then me :) Too bad the rear view mirror is obstructing the view a bit.

I don't know exactly but the M3 owner uploaded a video of this run as well ("H2R E46 M3" by JTRM3. He passed me at 6:45) so you can ask him directly ;)
