I loved it too but I really wish they had all the resources they could use so they could have given more time to character interaction and development. The animation is so stellar in this one though! It really looks like something you'd only expect from a big studio. Uzi and N are also the only "hetero" (quotes because they're robots) couple I've ever gotten anything from. Though in truth I ship Uzi, N AND V! 😅 Don't really understand it since I'm not polyamorous but man I want them to be together so badly! I do think Murder Drones really deserves more recognition but I kind of think that most people aren't really used to watching something as carefully as this show requires. I've also wondered if part of it is also because the protagonist is fem coded with lots of edgy energy and is the dominant one. And N being a male coded support who's extremely not traditionally masculine and is instead just really supportive and nurturing and goofy. Anyway, also mourning the end of Murder Drones here too. I hope they'll eventually release a bunch of behind the scenes stuff about all the things that they considered or cut from the show...

This short is so hilarious and gave us more info about Blitzø and his love life, where he probably thinks it’s rough and quick to just get it over, but it’s a Lust crystal and as Asmodeus said in episode 6 of season 2, lust is all about being gentle and tender, so I that’s a nice detail Also, the slurring penguins were hilarious and Moxxie showed us he knows what he’s doing and seems like Millie is being satisfied every night, and of course she would teach him how to do it

I don't what is off. Characters do things what they should do and say what they should say. Maybe because we already knew it all, it feels strange... I don’t know. The point of this episode is that even if Stolas and Blitz are talking, they still don’t get anything right. These are unusual representations of relationships, they usually say that if they talk, then everything will work out, but this is not the case between Stolas and Blitz

A lot of people were hating on the guy asking Stolas to dance, but he’s just showing Stolas a good time and even Stolas looked to Blitz for permission and he gave it. Stolas needed a night of fun and maybe get laid. Yeah, he’s drunk, but as long as he’s having a good time. Also, I love the progression of Verosika’a character, seeing why she hates Blitz and for good reason, her helping others going through that same heartbreak she went through, and realizing Blitz belongs in the “I Hate Blitzo” party. I also liked that after hearing Blitz say he’s truly sorry, when Blitz is yelling at the guy making out with Stolas, Verosika called him Blitz instead of Blitzo I know you weren’t a fan of the song, but I enjoyed it. It showed of Bryce’s vocal range, being like a classic rock song, and the animation and imagery during the song was beautiful

While I do have criticisms of how Stolas approached the conversation, I don't think he overreacted to Blitz making a joke of it. Blitz spends all his time and energy hating himself, which leaves him so self-focused and so intent on ruining himself to further justify his self-hatred that he can't even see Stolas for who Stolas is, let alone love him in a way that makes him a good partner. Whether he meant to or not, Blitz pretty much told Stolas, "Yeah, guess what, I'm gonna treat you like Stella did until and unless you fix me, since I don't care enough to fix myself."

'Why would you just blatantly say that?' Because now that Adam's exposed her as a fallen angel Vaggie's not even trying to keep that part a secret from anyone. She already told everyone in the hotel - we see that in the opening scene - so Charlie's not obligated to remain discreet about it, it's already public information.

"I don't touch the gays. I have standards." proceeds to touch her.

Oh and I am still convinced that Carmilla is a fallen Heavenborn Angel hiding in plain sight. When she fell she didn't become the ruler of Hell or be first met by the princess of Hell. She had to disguise herself as a demon and act the part. Hence her fake hair horns. She exhibits empathy, has daughters, has the same color pallet as Vaggie, and is an expert in Angelic weapons and fighting despite claiming she never thought she would get her hands bloodied. And the clincher for me comes from the pilot. Despite it not being canon it sill indicates intention. One of the first Overlords we see is Carmilla. And we soon see she is in a room with other demons. Specifically she is with Zestial, Zilla, and most importantly Lucifer. The thing is Lucifer despises the sinners. He will not have anything to do with them. So the idea of him bunkering down with sinners for the extermination is a nonstarter. None of those Overlords are sinners. Carmilla is a fallen Angel like Lucifer and Zestial and Zilla are Hellborn demons. Zestial in particular is one of the Lovecraftian demons. All this is theorycraft of course. But I have not yet seen any conclusive evidence to knock this theory down. But if it does come along I will adjust.

Lilith is a good guy. She is not in Heaven by her own choice. From the beginning Viv has been playing a misdirect game with Lilith. Notice that everytime we see Lilith her face is obscured so we cannot see her emotional state. And the situations we are shown can be read multiple ways but Viv tinged them with negative connotations. But then everything we hear about her from Charlie is positive and caring. She hears about Lucifer's Hopes and Dreams from Lilith because Lucifer was crushed by them. So the only one available to talk about them was Lilith. And she kept his dreams alive. Its why she was singing to the people. Trying to unite Hell rather than let them suffer separately on their own. And she was opposed by the predatory Overlords (some of them did care) and Heaven which was scared that a unified Hell would start asking questions about what was going on and the Angels just don't really know but have made up rules they think explains things. So because Lucifer would not lift a finger to help the sinners Lilith needed muscle to make her plans come true. So she enlisted Alastor when he arrived and offered him a boost in power if he sold his soul to her and worked for her. He was thus constrained to only hunt and kill those Lilith approved of which were the predatory Overlords. So he hunted them down and killed most but ensnared some. And then he ran into the Vees who had risen into the void left by his romp. And they were somehow able to beat him and send him into retreat. And it was then that Heaven sent Adam to confront the Morningstars to deal with Lilith's little uprising. And he went with his own agenda. He was still pissed that she rejected him. Being a very malignant narcissist he would hang on to grudges like no one else. And Lilith's rejection still stings. So he threatened Charlie that the Hellborn unless Lilith promised to join him in Heaven and play at rejecting Lucifer because she realized she should have been with Adam. Hence Lute assumed she wanted to be there when she was only doing it all to protect Charlie. Thus in season 2 it will start with Lilith showing up seemingly as an antagonist and she will try to stop Charlie. And then the twist will happen a few episodes in where she finally realizes that Charlie has a chance to make the very thing Lilith had been fighting for come true. But she is going to need to learn how to use her powers. So Lilith will join Lucifer in helping their daughter find her strength.

Talk about an absolutely crazy roller-coaster of emotions! N an Uzi screaming together was so hilariously adorable! What gives me hope for V is that they showed the hallway where she "died" yet we see no corpse or body parts but we do see what looks like two dead sentinels. Liam hasn't been shy showing characters die, as we sadly saw with Doll, so the fact that we didn't see V die in 6 and they chose to show the hallway in 7 devoid of any of V's remains seems a conscious choice. Tessa though... The thought that she was ultimately killed by Cyn during the massacre who's been parading around with her skin is...really fricking sad and grim even though this was the one thing I was absolutely expecting to happen the entire episode. Well, not necessarily specifically that Cyn was wearing Tessa's skin, but that this was likely her reanimated corpse controlled by Cyn. Though I do wonder something: in episode 5 there are a couple of scenes where we get to see the profile of Tessa's face from the side which makes the shape of her head seem...off. It's like she has no chin, nose and her eyes are extremely low in relation to where her chin should be. It really resembles the shape and eye layout of the drone's heads and faces. I initially wrote this off as just a stylization choice when I first watched 5 but the other humans don't appear to have faces shaped like that. And now, with the revelations in 7, I'm again questioning whether Tessa was ever human? It might explain why all the human's in N and V's memories had their images redacted as it would hide that Tessa was actually not human to begin with. This is, of course, a pretty wild theory and I don't really expect it to be correct but still, the shape of her face is even more off putting now. Could she have been a drone designed to be more human like? I guess we'll see what's revealed in 8...

It seems like the "patch" makes the Solver unable to possess the host, so Nori can use her Solver powers without risk. Yeva was also patched by the Crucifix, which you can see on the database "Tessa" looks at before she blows it up.

I really hope that N saves Uzi up in space since they literally need each other bro 😭😭 I also agree with the ending part, I think it’s was pretty generous of them to add her alive in space- since if they didn’t I would have assumed she was dead and had a mental breakdown since I have a HUGEE attachment so N and Uzi hejdhejsjnsk I have a bit of a theory that N is gonna go save Uzi in space with J (maybe V idfk where she is lmao) and Thad, Lizzy and Khan. Uzi clearly has plot armor so she’s most likely gonna have something to do with a boss fight with Cyn most likely ? We’ll see ALSO OMG I’m so glad someone else was going crazy over the Nuzi moments because I feel like some people get so nervous giving opinions about it since people can get kinda mad over ships and stuff :( I hope N and Uzi get the ending they deserve because they’re literally one of the cutest couples I’ve ever seen in fiction 😭🫶

A detail not too many people picked up on in “Overture” that might interest you to look back on is that when Charlie makes mention of ‘Good’ and ‘Evil’ during the storybook intro, actual characters are shown onscreen to represent them: to say the series’ God is the physical embodiment of Good, and on the other side of the line would be Evil herself. So watching that again, taking all mentions of Evil as an entity with its own wants and desires, it does look like Evil possessed Eve when Lilith and Lucifer gave her the apple, leading to Hell’s creation.

Whatever the absolute solver is they think its a program and so do the fans but it’s an actual living entity that may or may not be some Eldritch God. It acts like a parasite and infects itself into Damaged AI, the powers the infected drones have that is seen on screen are IT’s powers an example of how powerful is the absolute solver is that it literally destroyed Earth and can most certainly do the same to Copper-9 and as we have seen it’s taking Uzi as a host next
