Besides the facts you reported, -Kope had booked a flight to a family reunion over Thanksgiving. -Kope had arranged for a pick-up from the airport. -Kope discussed with his father and sisters the opportunity to see his mother, who suffered from dementia and just finished her cancer treatments, while she could still recognize him. -As you reported, pulling a zip tie that tight requires a tool such as pliers. No such tool was found nearby and he would've been unconscious before he could dispose of a tool. When you put it all together, I just can't see suicide as being on his mind. Additionally, with broken ribs and his bike laying in the dirt, he may have been run off the road or veered off the road himself for some reason (animal crossing, to relieve himself, etc). It is a fact that he had broken ribs and he was found a distance from the bike. If the bike did leave the road accidentally with him on it, did he try to walk back to the nearest town for help when someone stopped under the pretext of offering assistance? With broken ribs, he would probably be unable to fight off a supposed Good Samaritan if he had his back to them. If it wasn't the "killer" who rifled through Kope's belongings, I'd suspect a passerby stopped to check out a bookbag on the side of the road. Maybe after picking it up to go through it they noticed Kope. When they did, had they found the ID and put it near him for easy ID purposes and then run off because they didn't want be seen or caught there for fear of being a suspect. Just speculation... As for the guy who reported it?? Law enforcement said he was "known" to them and it didn't sound like it was because he's a regular police charity supporter. This case might not fit his MO, but with his background you'd think law enforcement would delve deeper before releasing him. And now they can't locate him? That seems odd with today's technology. Closure will not ease the loss, but might make the heart lighter for family. With little to go on, solving seems impossible without outside intervention. Someone knows something. Step up to the plate.

But the standard of truth (the Bible) testifies that there are spiritual forces at work in this world that are of the devil. The only protection you can truly have is faith in Jesus Christ. By believing in Christ and repenting of sin you are declared righteous by God, all of your sins will be washed away and you will inherit eternal life in heaven. The scriptures say that no immoral person (whether an adulterer, fornicator, person who converses with demons, thief, liar, swindler, homosexual, or abuser of themselves or other people, unrepentant hearts) will ever inherit eternal life but be eternally cast into darkness. Our only chance of escaping any evil phenomenon in this world or God's right judgement is to trust in the sacrifice that Jesus made on the cross. Think of it like this. If you're in court and there is more than enough evidence to convict you of your crime, you can't tell the judge "but I'm really a good person, I just messed up" no. A fair judge will say right.. but you are still a criminal and have to pay the consequences of your actions. However- if someone (God Himself) steps in your place and pays all your fines and punishment, you are free to walk away guiltless. This is what happened on the cross 2000 years ago. This is a heart issue and your and your family's eternity is at stake. And it's my prayer that you'll think about this truth in light of all this horrible phenomenon that you've been bombarded with all these years
