June 22nd 2024, still works! I'm gonna do this one just to craft a few weapons I can dismantle cause it irked me I thought recycling gives me spare parts and recycled a huge bunch of weapons I've collected so I wanna "take that back" and then play normally after lmao 😂

Do you have to use a silver hammer on a blue Iron Hachigane in order to get this? I went through 18 rounds of crafting and still haven't gotten the seal blessing. I was using an iron hammer on a gray Iron Hachigane.

In case anyone wonders, this also works on the PS4 version (latest patch) and it works on the Mooncrash DLC as well. At best it takes me 49 seconds to make 1 neuromod this way. Let's say 1 minute per neuromod.

So you can still duplicate in 2024 with all patches??

Jan, 2024 , cant get this to work, i split/drop all the pieces but when i hit create the blocks on the ground disappear, im guessing used in the recipe even though the blocks are not in the crafting table

UPDATE: I'm playing in 2024 & the glitch still works. You just can't use the mouse to move the split resources. Use the enter key & the arrow keys. Weird nuance, but it is what it is, lol.

how long until the fabrication machine times out and restarts? You have to work quick, at least that's how it seems to work when I tried this.

It worked on pc, but I’m trying to make galaxy brain achievement in mooncrash, and I need something faster, marking the amount of neuromods needed for galaxy brain with this method can take as long as farming the neuromods around the base.

Quite the lengthy process but does work with the PS4 version on a PS5 as my saying this. Got a few neuromods out of it and will continue until I feel I have enough. Thank you for this guide and bless your soul

is it suppose to take half of your minerals? cause it worked but then when i try to do it the second time it took like half of my minerals and idk why

Idk if this is faster but what i do is, fill up my inventory with whatever; inspect the materials on the station. Split them (move it to the second spot and then make it whole again) while trying to pick it up this will fill an empty spot in the station. Then do this for each material and once its all on the floor, make space in inv pick them up and once u craft it takes 0 mats. But hey its pretty long and boring to do but works 😂

Yeah this got patched on PC

Had an issue playing on PC with KBM where it's impossible to combine 2 stacks after splitting 50/50, screen just keeps scrolling chaotically. If someone has the same, just drag half stack from first slot to any empty slot (i.e. downwards) and press autosort (Y). It will move back combined stack to first slot, but still the stack will drop on the ground and glitch will work fine.

I'm actually still playing Prey and I love the game, I cant wait to finish it and see what happens. I have an idea for a playthrough that I'm going to do, and I'll need to reload the last save before I finish the game so I can go back and do this to make as many neuromods as I can, and then unlock the skills I need to unlock, then I'm going to do a new game plus, and from what I understand the new game plus carries over the skills that you have unlocked already. If that is the case, that would be awesome for the type of run I'm wanting to do, is that how it works?
