Looks like the developers wanted to make Charlotte a joke character. Sure, she is overconfident and a bit of an egomaniac, but before this game released SHE WAS INDEED the most powerful witch in history, and her tittle as the “Final weapon against Dracula” was originally referring to her role in the 1999 war as a Belnades clan representative. It was indeed hinted that she was involved in the war and had a prominent role in it fighting alongside Julius and Alucard, and whoever else was involved. Even if she was not “the final weapon against Dracula” in this sense, why wouldn’t she take part in the war? She was a 70 year old extremely gifted magic user at that point in history. Is that unseen in fiction? Even if she didn’t take part in the war (Say, she was dead), there is NO WAY Alucard wouldn’t know her, as she was affiliated with the church, the Morris’ bloodline, and the Belnades clan. She had a pivotal role in saving the Lercarde bloodline (holders of the “Alucard Spear”, ironically) through her magic, fought Dracula AND Death at the same time with Jonathan Morris during WWII. Then this game comes out and retroactively turns her into a delusional random girl?

First of all, thanks, thanks for preserving this story for everyone to watch. I really appreciate it, given how fickle mobile games' lifespans are. TBH, it's a miracle this game saw the end, so thanks for making us watch Honestly, starts promising, but after a while, the cast becomes too big and thus their interaction stretch thin. It's baffling that Soma doesn't get to talk at all with Dracula. Or how painful is that the two Marias share interaction just once and any hint of possible development dies. Or how pointless Albus is A shame, because the story is clearly made with love, but the final fight with Dracula makes all of the efforts to seal is soul be in vain. I very much prefer 'Ricordanza of the Divine Abyss', where Death is pretty much the main character and is shown to be truly depressed by Dracula's passing than this bog standard 'man behind the man' role. They did their best, but... it was an uphill battle and when they struck gold (such as the ending) it was gold

It's a big missed opportunity that they didn't have Soma interact with Dracula at the end. Soma should be the one giving the speech that humanity is good and dracula wants to live as one once again, not Alucard. He already gave it in Symphony of the night.
