Hello. Thank you for clarifying this. It is true that alternatives must be seeked to avoid dependency on certain systems. however, what about the people that can't afford tesla Batteries or solar panels, or any kind of alternative energy sources? There must be some regulation to be able to provide for those who have no other option. Thank you.

Hi, you are using CPI numbers for food, housing etc. They already are CPIs for those items. To calculate CPIs, there is “Consumer Price Index- Average price Data” in the Beta Lab page. There you can find actual average price (cost) for items that are part of market basket.
