I might be late to the punch but damn I love this episode. It was the first episode I ever watched of Naruto, exactly a year after my brother, my partner in crime, passed away. I was flipping through channels and happened upon adult swim, and I just about cried because my brother had that same wack-ass haircut Sasuke has (had?) And then I watched more of it and found out WHY he killed Danzo, and I was cheering Sasuke on like I was watching football 😂

I hate Danzo, but for a dude that was trained by tobirama and probably hashirama, partners with hiruzen, the *LEADER OF THE ANBU AND FORMER HOKAGE AND VILLAGE ELDER* also the boss of young Itachi and Kakashi not to mention he has SEVEN SHARINGAN including one that belonged to arguably one of the strongest uchiha to ever live shisui AND in the game (not sure if it’s canon) he summoned an entire tree wood style out of his shoulder I kind of wished he went out cooler than being killed by so bratty teen and committing suicide because he rage quitted, and I wanted to see him use his sharingan, I honestly would’ve rathered him get killed by hiruzen or Itachi and Pain teaming up, I wouldn’t even mind both, like it would’ve been cool if he survived until the war and he had to fight reanimated Itachi and Sasuke or Itachi and Pain then maybe Danzo would’ve put them in a genjutsu or defeated them for a minute or two and hiruzen would’ve fought the weakened danzo and finished him saying something like “I should’ve done this years ago” and with the help of Sai maybe, killing Danzo ridding the shinobi of the corrupt devil, I don’t mean to make him seem like way more powerful than he is idk I just wish he went out cooler, especially since Hiruzen and Danzo were like Naruto and Sasuke you’d think Danzo would’ve died to him

my problem with this fight is that without the second or fourth level of his eyes Sasuke chan would have been destroyed by danzo. personally i think dazo should have won easily not because of izanagi but because he has more experience and he should have more tricks up his sleeve I mean the mans been dealing with the uchiha for years and had personal dealing with shisui so its not like hes never seen a mongekao(you try spelling this without help) before i mean amatarasu is easily delt with as show by pervy sage as it tuskiyomi but no one has come up with a viable way to deal with susano before i call bullshit
