Picks up where we left off with Part 1. Some more ice, some playing in a sand pit. Remains of an old wooden truck in the woods and one huge rock!!!

This trail runs between West Dalhousie Rd to the Mersey Rd in beautiful Western Nova Scotia. A mix of tight rocky terrain with a few water holes and changes in elevation. A fun trail for all experience levels. #polaris #gopro #novascotia

Day at the Spa
Переглядів 897 місяців тому
A group of us decided we needed a Spa day and hit the trails to make our way to the local spa. This is how it went #spaday #trending #backwoodslife
Decent videos. But I’d much rather listen to engine sounds and possibly some commentary, than that random music.
@Proxphellrzr thanks for watching and the comment. I currently do not have a mic set up for commentary. Check out a few more videos. I do try to get engine sounds in some. A lot of times, I have my music playing, and it gets flagged for copyright issues. I got to pause mine more for better content.
What a title. LoL
@@versyschris lol named by the locals. I did have a typo it is "Hardwood Hills"
Nice. I like it when there is commentary. Makes it more interesting. 👍
@@versyschris thanks for watching
And no crappy tennis shoe in the dryer stir the butter music. Thank you.
@C-141B_FE Thanks for the comment and taking the time to watch
Such a stud!😂
Was a great day!
fun day for sure
Very nice ride!
@@davedawe2420 Thanks
Great looking machine! Love those factory doors as well. Can't wait to see some more videos on it!
@nicks_ride Thanks man I'm still trying to figure out a spot to mount my 360 camera so I don't have to be holding a selfie stick. It will be a trial and error for some content for a bit.
They are nice .machines. congrats on the new toy
@@nbatvforum thank you.
It’s a very nice rig!!
@tylorcharlton7949 Thank You
New toys are always nice 😊
@BackCountrySxSAdventures Yes, they are. Now, to start dressing it up. 🤑🤣
@@BackWoodsJunkie yep, they are toys that keep on giving in the spending department haha
Sweet Ride!!❤
That is cool, I’ve never done the rafting. Was planning to a couple years ago but never made it. I feel like the videos I watched back then the river was kicking up 4-6’ waves for the zodiacs to play in. Why is it so calm here.
The explanation I got when I did it was because of the volume of water flowing up the narrow river. The washboard bottom causes the rapids effect. Now that I have waterproof video gear. The content would be cool.
@@BackWoodsJunkie right but I’m not seeing that in the video. Is this the first and it just hasn’t kicked up yet? Or that happens further up stream? lol lived here all my life and never seen this. I gotta go check it out.
@ScotianOff-Road this is the initial high tide rolling in. Once the volume of water rises so quickly the rapids form giving the ability to go rafting. A time lapse video would show the rapids forming. This river in the video isn't much of the rafting river. The Stewiacke River is where the rapids effect happens. I think there are 3 companies on that river that offer the rafting service.
@@BackWoodsJunkie right on might take my GoPro and hit it up sometime. Thanks
That is cool. I did the river raft there, that was an experience 😅
Yes!!!!! I have done the rafting on the shubie river near Stewiacke. It's definitely a blast
Found a water hole didn't you. 😂
Ya I wish we went through a few weeks ago. The water levels have dropped a lot all ready. That trail usually has a lot more. Thanks for watching
Outlaw Mud Runners were there 👍🏼👍🏼
One of the cool finds in that area, few more worth checking too
Watching with my 3 and half year ild grandson We both enjoyed it. He loved the dancing bear
😅
Good one. Did you lose much time on the trails because of the snow?
Maybe a little. The mud on the soft fire roads where there wasn't any snow was actually harder going. Was just like quick sand 🤣
Slow going but I like some of the rough technical trails 👍
just found your channel and subscribed.
Thanks for the support. I hope you enjoy what you see
Icebreakers in action 😊
It was fun while it lasted, glad the weather has started to change down here on the south shore.
I like the fun of winter riding just not the work of bundling up to stay warm 😆
That time of the year 😅
That looked like a fun crossing haha
It was a fun spot and a fun day.
How cool is that
There is the remains of an older steam powered alligator boat just outside Halifax and the Mersey area as well that's very cool
lil water on lol. good job i like these short little obstacle crossing videos.
Thanks man, 12hr trail ride. gonna do a few shorter videos of the technical trails then trying to put it all in one long video. Stay Tuned
@@BackWoodsJunkie good idea, the shorter action type videos are more likely to gain traction on UA-cam over the longer videos imo. 🍻
Going deep alright. Good run/turnout
Great day for sure. More content from that run to come
If I ever get my stickers updated with the new logo I’ll definitely put one in the mail.
The OCD shed.... neat and clean. Love it.
Actually it's a mess right now 😄
YEAAAAH!!!!!!
Enjoyed your video series. It is a great trip and a great way to see Newfoundland. We are making our third trip over this August. One question, your friend with the Can Am Commander, what product/spare tire carrier is he using to carry his spare tire on?
Thanks for watching. Nfld is an amazing trip 2025 we will be doing it again. That tire carrier is custom-made to fit in a 2" hitch receiver opening.
Thanks, 2025 won't be long coming :) @@BackWoodsJunkie

It wasa cool day, but nice to get out
Nice ride
Ya should bank it higher all around it teach dem a lesson😂😂😂😂😂😂❤
Get you pizza and Chinese food!
🤣 charge your cell phones and iPads , I knew someone local would get that.
When was that?
This was last May. Just trying to keep some videos coming until I get out with new footage. Thanks for watching!!
Hauling some ass!
Very nice tight trails to explore! fun!
Slow pace is just as fun a fast pace some days, Thanks for watching
A fellow Maritimer! Just subbed! Im going to check out your NFLD videos, hopefully going 2025!
I'm going back in 2025. It's an awesome trip. Thanks for Subscribing
Just watched the 8 videos in this series, great scenery. We’ve taken the trail from Port aux Basques to Arnolds Cove 2 times and many side trips off the main rail bed and recognize many of the places. I think more audio descriptions along the route would complement the videos for those not as familiar with the railbed and small towns.
Thanks for watching. I really do not have mic set up to do the audio descriptions. That's why in the later videos I did do some text to voice. I do need to work on the commentary part of my videos.
Some nice scenery and memories made in this one buddy.
Yeah, this day definitely had the best scenery. I did miss out on some in previous days because of the weather. Hopefully, 2025, we will have better weather. Thanks for watching.
great run!
