Exploring the Creek and Catching Fish along the way. Featuring an awesome Rock path
Holy freaking crap people, he's literally just showing a different way to do something, it's not that deep.
Sounds helpful. I’ve used multi tools to save my skin on many an occasion, and had the screwdriver fold in on quite a few. Pretty annoying hassle.
Yes. Very aggravating. Glad they got this figured out!
Great tips.
@@islandjason Thanks!!
I enjoyed the video
@@povertyhilladventures7088 Thanks! Im glad you did
Крокодил
I can see it
What knifenis that lovely blade on it
@@ironkid8836 It’s the Spyderco Lum. One of my favorite knives I love the blade shape
@BluegrassAdventurer thanks for that I just got my first spydie folder the crucarta pm2 almost instantly became my favourite
@ Oh yeah! I like the pm2 as well. There’s not a whole lot of Spyderco knives I’ve felt that I don’t like
@BluegrassAdventurer I had the bowie street before lovely knife but the smaller one is better gonna pick nit up soon
@ Yeah. I sometimes like smaller knives better
What a bunch of haters. I do this the same for thr exact reason you mentioned. Also it creates a more concentrated spark stream. I guarantee these dip shits talking about eggs and driving in reverse have zero bushcraft experience.
I always plant my ferro rod firmly on my boot or fire board, that way I dont accidently try to pull the ferro rod.
@@islandjason Everybody has their own way of doing it! And if it works for you it’s not wrong. Thanks for watching and commenting!!
Way to put that knife to work!!
That’s right!
Great video brother!!
Thanks!
It holds up eh
@@MountainAjar Not only does it hold up it’s asking for more!
@ got to respect that, I have plenty need to baton in my day so to see a folder hold up . Props
@ I like my coldsteel knives!
Too thick for a skinner too small for a hunting knife. My opinion.
@@D2G10 I think I’d have to disagree as far as too thick goes. For me it’s definitely on the verge, but I think it would be fine. As far as too small again it’s right there. Any smaller and it would definitely be too small. But we are all entitled to our opinions! Thanks for the comment!!
Just got mine two weeks ago. love the feel. blades spine is a little thick though the feel of the handle is amazing
@@imjustbored97 Awesome! I really like the feel and agree the handle feels great. Thanks for commenting!
Hard disagree. Maybe it’s because I’m Alaskan and I start fires with tree bark in the wind and cold…. But I put the ferro rod down on the tinder to hold it in place and strike down with my knife. Works like a champ.
@@ChadSolberg I’ve done it both ways. I just feel like I’ve put the flame out more doing it the other way. Not that it’s necessarily wrong just another way of doing it
@ fair enough. My experience has been the opposite. Probably due to wind …. What ferro rod are you rocking?
@ Honestly not sure. I bought it off Amazon a while back. Nothing special
Use your knife….properly!! Just cause you can doesn’t mean you should. That is prolly the strongest lock made but batoning is for fixed blades
I agree, but I don’t hesitate hard use on a cold steel
This is so calming especially the water trickling in the background
@@Kixlevr Thanks! I thought it sounded nice
@@BluegrassAdventurer it sure did
I think there is a misunderstanding. I mean, if the blade is already sharp why would you need a sharpening stone? And if the knife was not sharp, you won't sharpen it with the skin anyway.
@@testadicondominio6309 The strop is more for honing the edge. You won’t bring it back sharp if it’s dull, but it’ll help keep it sharper longer if you use it often. Thanks for watching!!
Did you know instead of flipping your eggs you can just flip the pan 😮
Seems obvious to me plus I’ve seen it elsewhere on UA-cam before…several times
Cool stuff. Thank you for sharing. Do more!
Thanks! Will do!!
Hello 👋 my outdoors friend, thank you for sharing these helpful tips. All the best to you. Stay safe out there 🏕️. 😊
Thanks!! You as well. Thanks for watching!!
Cost?
@@j.r.palehorse About $150 on Blade HQ right now
Yes sir!
@@MountainAjar hard to beat
Good design but they really go nuts with the branding on the blade.
@@mirekbns I agree 100%. I mean it could look worse, but it could definitely be smaller
Thats not a waterfall, a waterfall is where water starts to free fall and touches nothing but air. This is just water moving down.
Thanks for the correction! Good video!
@@dougwhite3015 No problem. Thanks for watching!!

THANKS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@@RAYANDERS-w4t Thanks for the comment!!
That was not duck or duct tape. That was electrical tape.
@@dougwhite3015 No. It’s gorilla tape. Like duck tape it’ll get the job done
Nope that’s the one inch roll of Gorilla Tape .
It’s the same as duct tape but better and has a far better adhesive than regular duct tape. Gorilla tape
@ That is for sure!
🤦♂️
Great looking knife!
@@grknives Thanks!!
Pull all blades out
I show them all at the end. They aren’t all out at the same time, but they all get shown
what knife?
@@glezzzz It’s the Spyderco Lum
Looks good!!

Swiss army Knife for me
@@Possum880 I like the Swiss army pretty good!
I'm not a tape expert but I'm pretty sure that's electrical tape not duct tape
@@brandonsstaples919 It’s just thin duct tape
Great tip, that’s how I have mine set up. I used that exact kind of duct tape!!
@@KyKnifeHunter It’s a great idea
Same result, do it one-handed.
Same result, but you don’t have to worry about hitting your tinder with the blade and putting out the flame
@@BluegrassAdventurer kind of looks like that you can put the Ferro rod into the hole of the blade ( might be dumb ,)
@ I didn’t think about that, but yeah it definitely looks like you could
Thats a great hunting blade
It is! I like it a lot! Thanks for commenting!!
Unless it has a can opener I don't keep them
