Greetings and welcome to my channel. My name is Tyler (Formerly Hylian Alchemist), and I do Let's Plays. However, the Let's Plays you see here are actually post-commentated Let's Plays. I'm a guy who likes to be informative, and of course, make as many cringe-worthy jokes as possible. So sit back, relax, and enjoy.
Let's Play Banjo-Kazooie (Bonus 2/2) REDUX
In this second bonus video, I show off the infamous Stop 'n' Swop feature, which is how and where to find the six Mystery Eggs and the Ice Key.

Majora has tried to destroy everything and everyone after Day 3. It's now that day, only the opposite ends up happening. That's right, it's time for Majora itself to be destroyed. It's what happens when you cause so much pain and suffering and only view it as a game.

With all Four Giants freed, every mask acquired, and helping everyone to ensure completion of the Bomber's Notebook (And to those of you wondering, I restarted a new and final cycle to refight the bosses and replay all the sidequests before recording this, 'cause I like doing so before finally stopping the Skull Kid), it's now finally time to put the Skull Kid in his place and prevent Armageddo...

One more thing I forgot to add. The next time we jump back into the Zelda series, the next game in the franchise I'll be tackling is the Oracle Duology (Oracle of Seasons and Oracle of Ages). And I'm planning on doing something special for those games. You'll hear more about it when I eventually get to them.
The Ikana area is definitely my favorite part of the game! The atmosphere, the music, the temple at the end, it's all so cool.
RIP the guitars-man
Ah yes, the Razor Sword. A fan-favorite item that unfortunately doesn't stick around for very long. But at least it looks cool!
The design does look cool, just wish it was also permanent. Ah well, I’m good with the Gilded Sword.
I remember being a little surprised by the Dodongo cave the first time I fell down there, but now it's one of the areas I make sure to visit during every cycle. That's too much money to leave behind! I agree with you about Majora's Mask 3D. In general I think it's a great remake, but there are just a few changes that leave me wondering. Oh well, I prefer to play the console version on the big screen anyway.
@@Commodore128 Personally, I’m always fine with playing both versions since it’s still Majora’s Mask. I honestly can’t say for certain which is better, even though the 3DS version did have quality-of-life improvements and better graphics, but the other negative changes did make me feel conflicted.
I appreciate how they give you that Deku Scrub minigame to play during the first cycle of days. It can be a long wait until the final night if you don't have something to occupy your time!
Having a mini game to play at the beginning section of the game would be the saving grace. As much as I love this game to death, the one thing I didn’t like about it was the first 3-day cycle locking you in without a break until after you get the Ocarina back, as Deku Link can’t activate the owl statues to use the quick-save feature. Not to mention, it does come off as slow.
Just sub also great work on your video i hope to see more
@@Live_XP Thank you so much for the subscription! Glad you enjoyed :)
Good job man, from one legend of zelda player to another i support you and your channel, ill sub.
@@Ghst-wy8oi Thank you very much for the sub! And welcome aboard to this channel! :)
Congrats on your 20th LP, and almost 100 subscribers! Majora's Mask is my favorite Zelda game as well, I just love the "artistry" behind it! The world, the characters, the mechanics behind everything, the music, it all comes together so well to create a truly unique experience. There's nothing else quite like it!
@@Commodore128 Much appreciated! Majora’s Mask is really one of those games that really gives you an emotional connection to the characters, like you really want to help them out. And it really does an amazing job with that.
Lovely video
good vid bro
Whats up with all the glitches helping you?
No idea how that’s even possible. During the part when I went to the wrong door and the game moved me to the other room at the fortress, I’m assuming it could be a programming oversight.
Hold up when jumping out the water to do a normal jump rather than the mini ones seen in this vid
Congrats on making it to the end! As a kid, I would always just swim under the boats in that level. Maybe that's cheating, but if you know what you're doing you can make it through most of the level that way!
What I came here to say. Also the sun level you could've gone down 1st quicksand pit for power up
I actually really appreciated the puzzle in level 5 of this world when I played it a couple years back. They do give you all the pieces you need to figure it out, the trick is just to put them all together. I'm glad there aren't a ton of levels like that in this game, but as a weird one-off it's still cool design.
How do you get this game
Right now, it’s accessible via Nintendo Switch Online, which is what I’m using for this LP. There’s also the NES Classic Edition that includes this game, but I think you’d have to buy it online since it was taken off of retail stores.
I always liked this world. Thematically, it was just really cool to go from the "ground" section up to the sky to finish it off. And the shoe! I wish we got more of that in the game.
Yeah, I wish this game would've done more with Goomba's Shoe, but it's only exclusive to one world. Not counting its return in Mario Maker, this is one of those power-ups that's been slept on a lot.
Did you get two triple star cards in a row? Hopefully you won't have any issues with lives now! I get what you mean about some of the sprites being very "pixelated" in this world, especially the larger ones. Unfortunately, this game was designed to be played in 4x3 on a CRT TV and those visuals don't always translate well to an LCD widescreen. Ah, the pains of retro gaming. Having said that, I've found that even just squashing a recording down to 4x3 goes a long way towards making it look nicer.
Hah, that darn fish was the one thing in this game that terrified me as a kid! Mostly because it ignored my invulnerability codes. Apparently that doesn't stop you from being eaten! (Also, I feel I need to point out that not all sushi is raw fish, there are a bunch of different kinds. I'm a big fan of chicken teriyaki, myself!)
I'd say Mario 64's variation of Boss Bass/Big Bertha found in Tiny-Huge Island was the one that scared the hell out of me when I was a kid. And yeah, that's right, I didn't think of other options for sushi. Fish was the most common one.
Fun little tidbit about those Chain Chomps (or not-so-fun, depending on your point of view), but after a while I'm pretty sure they will break their chains and go shooting after you! Kind of like how the Hammer Bros in Mario 1 get tired of waiting eventually and chase you down.
Huh. Never knew about that for the longest time. That’s gotta be a nerve-wracking experience. And as for the Hammer Bros, I always thought the ones that come towards you was only in Lost Levels. That’s good to know.
Looks like I jumped in right at the end of the trilogy, I'll have to go back and watch the rest! Mario 3 is such a great platformer, it's something I've come to appreciate a lot more now that I'm not just cheating my way through like I would as a kid. Coincidentally, I just finished playing Mario 2 a few days ago. We must have been playing it at about the same time!
Oh yes, Mario 3 is definitely up there among my favorite Mario games, and even to this day, the game still holds up. It’s the perfect example of a good innovative sequel, and it shows.
I meant to place an image of the "Indifferent Sun" from Mario Maker 2, and I completely forgot to do that. Here's a link to the image for those who are curious: mario.wiki.gallery/images/b/bc/SMM2-NSMBU-AngrySun.png

Reminds me of when I ran my pokemon let's play, almost makes me wanna continue that remastered version I wanted to do
Crystal has a move tutor that teaches flamethrower, thunderbolt, icebeam. Only avail after elite 4
If you want endgame plus, you can put your Crystal team into Pokemon Stadium 2 and clear the poke cup (you may need to breed/make a new team since the poke cup is 50-55 with 155 total level for 3 v 3) I usually try to prepare ahead and stop levelig at 50 (or I will make a copy with pokehex so I have a lvl 50 team to fight)
Overuse of items and switch mode makes me sad =[
Seeing you use items give more feeling to the quote, "You don't get to be champion of the Pokemon League without knowing how to spam full restores!"
Call me edgy but I refuse to spam heals, and I can't stand playing on Switch mode.
Good video, but you've really gotta work on not saying "uhh" or "umm" every 3rd word.
Seems like he just loses his train of thought real quick because he's focusing on whats happening and what he should do next. Plus, it's not too noticeable. Lots of streamers do the same🤷🏾♂️
You sir went into this fight with 55s and said we are ready, in heartgold ds version i got slapped by pikachu with iron tail and he would one shot my Rhypherior since he had the speed advantage. Good times
Oh yeah, HG/SS really beefed up Red's team in addition to a more strategic moveset. And that was how level grinding became a thing for me.
Keep going 🎉
OK, I don't know how, but somehow, my mic got cut off towards the end. Like, seriously, I really have no idea how, because I made sure my entire commentary file was in the editing feed, and it played like normal. I apologize for this sudden bizarre-as-hell mishap, so let me go ahead and reiterate what I was originally saying in the video. So as you know, our final objective after getting all eight of the Kanto Badges is to head to Mt. Silver, because a certain Trainer is there to challenge us, and it will be one that will whup our asses if we're not prepared. But we're not gonna do that just yet, because there's still plenty of unfinished business to take care of, such as minor things to show off, and areas in Johto that we haven't even explored. So here's what the next few videos are gonna entail: The first one will be me showing off the extra Trainers you can battle in the S.S. Aqua, and each of the two voyages on certain days (Johto to Kanto and vice versa) has their own set of different Trainers. It's good for extra EXP gain if you want to beef up your Pokémon some more, but at least a couple Trainers have Pokémon we haven't encountered, so I at least want to show them off and go over them. Next up is the Battle Tower. We did see it after leaving from Olivine City, and I did promise you guys that I'd show that one off too, so there's that. After that is Legendary hunting. The next few videos will have me explore the unvisited areas and finding the Legendaries living there, as well as... the godforsaken roaming Legendaries, Raikou and Entei. We already have the plot-relevant Suicune, thankfully, but...ugh... But not only that, since I'm playing the Virtual Console release of Crystal (And one of the reasons why I wanted to play that version in the first place), that means I can have access to the Mythical Celebi, so there will be a video on that too. Then there's the penultimate episode, which will be an optional rematch against FuckBag. By that point, everything will be done and covered, and then we can head to Mt. Silver, which will be the final episode of this Let's Play. So there you have it, folks. That will be the plan for the next few episodes. Stay tuned until then!
nice episode, no such thing in crystal👍😎

Can you also share your team at this point with me?
Good for you Tyler. Good for you.
I hope you give Pokémon Crystal Clear a try someday, you're in for a surprise when you reach Elite Four. Also the gyms scale to your level and you can beat them at any order, start in any city, it's a really cool rom.
I’ve seen mentions of it a while back, but since it’s open-world, I’d be down to give it a shot. Whenever I can, that is.

Thanks, dude! I always feel like a kid when I replay the original Gen 2, but HeartGold/SoulSilver is always my go-to when revisiting Johto.
ahh whitney is always tough, that rollout got me again recently😅
Miltank and that Rollout is always the end of everyone. So long as you have the traded Machop, it does make the Gym battle look like a complete joke lol
cool team keep it up!👍
I'm a big fan of Gen 2!!! In my opinion, great set of Legendaries and a Showdown with "The Quiet One!!" Great commentary btw
