I have a Ronin RSC 2. I'm going back to Analog. Hate to be worrying about the battery and looking at the battery meter all the time. It's too much stress... Sending it back to Amazon. And you still have to do the Ninja walk. Also a Ronin gets stupid heavy after 20 min of shooting. I do not shoot weddings anymore. Just music videos and I get hired as a camera operator/ DP. I'm very familiar with these analog systems. Thanks for your Demo

I would never use a steadicam and try to manual focus. Either use a wide angle lens and set to infinity focus or a camera and lens with really good autofucus. I shoot with a gimbal and exclusively use a 50mm f1.8 with full autocus on a panasonic s5ii. I am going to start using a steadicam with a wide angle lens.

Just been given this steadicam plus the vest with supporting arm from a mate to try before I buy. £200! A bargain I would say.

These are a deep depth of field if you own an oldrr Lumix cam, wouldn't trust my S1H for autofocus. You dont always need shallow dof.

Steadicam is best for natural by moving and best for short footage (10-20 sec) if shoot for long (30 sec over) footage your muscles will be tired, so gimbal was best choice and easy to use without operator skill

Is that the black magic 4k or 6K? Also, I'm using the 4k with a speed booster. It is definitely heavier on one side so it kind of wobbles off or veers off if you know what I mean.

wow. I also have Black magic 6k camera.. and it is impossible to balance it with heavy lenses on that Flycam. Cause it always fall forward... whatever i did. Did. Spotted that you've mounted the plate way closer to yourself. It went over the edge as i see. Such approach i haven't used yet.. Seems like it is time to take that gimbal from the closet! I like it, I appreciate the fact you have really great clips to work with. Could you imagine trying to do the same thing but all you have is shots from amateur's? But i like the half a second clips tying in to the part he says this doesn't seem real. That was great

A fact that people dont know is that each vest fits each person different. Talking with several steadicam ops led me to realize that most of us will not find the right vest for our body shape because its so expensive
