In one of the mitsubishi elevators in my apartment, there is a similar high pitched chime for going up. Unfortunately, there was a flood in the lowest basement of our apartment, and this elevator was affected along with many others. When the repairsmen were recovering all the involved elevators, they probably overlooked the fact that the going down chime was no longer working since then. The elevator basically looks like the more iconic version of the elenessa, just with an lcd screen with the bluish-white dotted arrows.
