I guess all of the comments on our Global Housing Crisis have migrated to study groups that will break up the group think around Housing First Programs, the real taboo as they threaten the Scarcity Principle driving so-called Free Housing Markets (and the privatization of other human necessities like clean water, sewer, power and externalized True Costs of pollution and institutional corruption). Whether Blackstone LLP's bid-net model or a working class couple of heroes who paid off their increasingly rare 30 year mortgage on factory & warehouse jobs so they own a 2-family house in a modest blue collar neighborhood with mass transit, each type of "homeowner" sees their own personal value in maintaining the SCARCITY (aka SCARE CITY) PRINCIPLE of Housing Markets that have spiraled cost of housing way beyond the 50 years of concurrent Wage Stag-Nation quantified in all different sorts of nation-states.... It isn't even politics that makes a documentary film like PUSH so dangerous. It is the human condition that when not prettied up or gentrified shows life to be a Food Chain where only the "fittest" survive, read "self-serving" survive and so the Private Interests have to be privileged in policy-making over the Public Interest.
