The mission of the California State University, Chico Orientation program is to help facilitate the transition of new students to our campus and provide them with the tools and knowledge needed for a successful college experience. We strive to demonstrate a clear communication of our campus policies and expectations while encouraging campus involvement, diversity, inclusiveness, and integrity. Additionally, we wish to welcome and introduce new student’s families to Chico State and provide them with information and resources they can utilize to help their students succeed. Orientation is an important beginning step for students that provides opportunities for personal growth, meaningful connections and future academic success.
