@@mhvoicestudio Normalmente quando si insegna La Base della tecnica ai giovani cantanti l’acustica della stanza dev’essere vicinissima a quella d’un teatro lirico vero cioè secca. Così ci insegnavano 65 anni fa. L’acustica d’una chiesa è poco adatta allo studio di un giovane cantante per tantissime ragioni, ma questo Lei lo sa … Mentre sta cantando un giovane non deve ascoltare mai la propria voce . Questa è la regola numero 1. Per quale ragione?! Lei conosce la risposta giusta. Saluti cordiali il vecchio 🌹☀️🌈🍀

@@bodiloto Assolutamente, i giovani cantanti non dovrebbero ascoltare e monitorare ossessivamente le proprie voci, soprattutto in spazi piccoli. Tuttavia, ascoltare la propria voce nella riverberazione naturale di una chiesa non è necessariamente inadatto. Dobbiamo essere consapevoli del nostro strumento senza manipolarlo impropriamente. Il canto è profondamente radicato nella musica sacra-senza di essa, non avremmo il lavoro di Guido d'Arezzo, il monaco benedettino che ha introdotto la solmisazione mille anni fa. Apprezzo molto i commenti e concordo che si dovrebbero preferire acustiche ottimali. Ma purtroppo, ciò non è sempre possibile.

​@@mhvoicestudioI study these precious conditions and could do it. How do you know her? Does she break or shake ghinhs or hurt your ears? My ex used to sing coloratura soprano and she made things shake off walls and I had to open the windows so they didn't rattle in their panes

Believe it or not, he sings primarily American Musical Theatre-at least recently. I think if he trains with bel canto technique consistently, he could eventually be classified as a charakterbariton, aka Verdi baritone.

Nathanaël Selig - Thanks for your question! I would agree that vowels need clarity. In lower voice types, this can get a little tricky. I am unfamiliar with this quote, but I think it is spot on for tenors in much of their range. Lower voices must modify vowels in many cases, especially when approaching the top. It does not mean they should darken the voice with excessive tongue or jaw tension. Watch some of Corelli's clips and observe his larynx; in specific phrases, one can see it is VERY low. This approach worked well for him, especially at the top. Lengthening the resonator/throat is necessary. I would not call this darkening; instead, I would call it optimizing space.

I was asking cause I was doing this animal sound you show in the video to find this lyrics sound but I personally had and still have an issue. On the top register it create a hard constriction. It tends to send the voice down in the throat instead of high in resonance. Maybe you have a solution for that. I'll be glad to have some help on that.

And yeah Corelli is known for his very low position but he keep a clear emission on the bottom cause if he does this grunty tilted sound before passagio he won't be able to go high.
