I haven't tanked much savage so im still getting use to the best time outside of busters w regards to the 40% as using it on autos feels useless. I play Monk and I still use the lock. I find it easier to walk around the boss adds hit positionals

Orlando Bernard I also play monk and lock on severely limits your movement to the back and is also a lot slower as you can't move through the boss without locking out.

I play on controller so I don't have to move my fingers to lock and unlock. it's a habit and it's not slower.

Orlando Bernard I also play on controller. Lock on for me is R3, L3 is even worse. You miss positionals as a monk when you have to move more intelligently. Since with your lock on you strafe around the target and not actually through, you are a lot slower in situations where the boss turns for example. A player who can move freely has a much higher chance at getting his positionals in. I can know, because I switched from controller to controller with Face target keybinds. But that's not needed anymore as well. You are more than welcome to visit my profile and see how much more fluent it is when you're not locked on.

As Pearons said, you go to the opposite side of the blue meteor. As you're moving, count the total tethers. If it's an odd number, stack in from the edge. If it's even, stack on the edge.

we never actually got to see an enrage while learning the fight but there could be one. fight doesn't seem too dps heavy

There is an enrage, but it's very generous (over 11 mins). Basically she casts the sin and punishment mechanic again, but everyone has white circles.

Yeah, I menaged to beat it as well and I also saw enrage too actually x) ..but yeah, happens just if you die a lot!..

but the smn ended up being the "mvp" by raising a healer to do a healer lb when most of the party died lol

its a more forgiving fight then the rest in its own way. but the mechanics were interesting to figure out and do.
