    I already know what your problem is. Your gun is used and might have not gotten fixed. Go get a new one and you won't have any problem.

    Look on the box and see if it is a “ SPECIAL CONFIGURATION” some of the Sig guns were built for some type of agency. Sometimes they are built with certain types slides,sights, triggers. If it was like I said someone tried to do shifty gunsmithing.

    • @prepper2711

      I am not sure. It's possible. It would make sense if you're not getting oil pressure. it might automatically throw it into limp. mode. I hope this helps you. If you have any questions feel free to ask.

      I replaced my trigger bar. But the problem is. A bent trigger bar. You can bend it back. But it's better to replace it. I got my trigger bar from a company called armory craft. I hope this helps. I have a full build video coming out as soon as get parts

    Well a 17 is a 22 magnum necked down to a 17 caliber. That’s why they all interchange magazines

    I too went with an Amazon CV-Life 4x16 scope and have been pretty happy. Now I did upgrade to some quality mounts and a solid 0 MOA top rail. My bi-pod also was $20 off Amazon. All that mounted to my savage 93 22 mag and stretch it out to 300 yards often , with the right ammo. Cheap ammo, 150 yards, good ammo 300 + yards

    After I got my second M1 which was ww2 vintage, I tried to sell my post war to my friends. It wasn’t too much later that I was so glad none of those cheap f**ks wanted to get a good deal on an M1. I came to my senses and will never be selling any guns unless I’m about to wind up on the streets.

  • @steveb6103
    @steveb6103 4 місяці тому

    Did you or the CMP do the. Changes? Because without the marks on the wood, it's worth quite a bit less. And you're right about the ammunition. You can get factory ammunition made for the M1. Remember, every change that is made reduces the value to a collector. I have 1 numbers matching and 3 that came from the CMP in 1982.

    I'm thinking about buying one of these to put a 450 Bushmaster insert in it, and perhaps even a 45-70 government insert later on. In you opinion from your experience with your Condor, do you think it can hold up to the pressures of those two rifle calibers?

    • @prepper2711
      @prepper2711 5 місяців тому

      I think that's a pretty cool idea. But I don't think it would work because. The area where the firing pin pokes through the frame. Is very thin metal in that area. In my opinion I don't think it would hold up And potentially create an unsafe. Firearm. Short lane adapters and X-calaber ran into Cracked frames When they started making sub adapters/inserts.

    Nice. Please post more videos of your progress with your Rifle. Mine is an SA from June 43 with a VAR Barrel. I changed out my Rear Sight to the WW2 type. I also use the Schuster adjustable gas plug (even with ammo specified for Garands) just incase to safeguard my OP Rod.

    M1 Grand is my favorite rifle. If I had to give all my rifles up but one I without a doubt keep my m1 Grand. Sure is big and just a little heavy but it can shoot accurate at a thousand with some practice and it can drop a white tail all the way up to a moose , grizzly, even a elephant or the black bulls in Africa I think they call the old big ones Dugger boys because they live in the mudd and it acts like sun block so they don't get sun burn because like me they have some balding taking place. Yes sir, it will bring down a elk or a Buffalo so matter where you end up with large game or Chinese or Russian that want to kill Americans, the Garand is Grand should make you boss at long ranges where those ak rifles might not reach out and touch someone the Garand should do the job as the sights are as good if not better than a leaupold. Every home should have a m1 and know how to use. If you can't get a Garand a M1A / M14 WOULD BE MY PICKAS A JUST AS GOOD.

    Oh Bayonet will mount fine but Chevron break is to small, you'll need a birdcage flash hider or similar for it not to wiggle to much. Save some money, move to the texas coast and get into Petroleum inspection and make 100k and enjoy cheap home prices, low taxes and real Freedom lol

    Love this Rifle. On my 3rd lol. Get out of Illinois, move to Texas, just a hint. Future gets weird lol. Collapsible stock looks great but is ridiculously uncomfortable. DMR get a PSG-1 Stock set and bipod. It'll never be a 1 minute of angle gun but 2 MOA is possible, Bill Springfield can get you to a 4lb trigger clean as well. Great video. My WASR 10 kicks way more than my C308 lol. M1-Garand is my favorite rifle of all time but my C308 is my favorite go to Hog Slayer and deer rifle. You in my top 20 favorite UA-cam channels btw. Keep at it brother.
