Gorgeous Hyde Park right before Christmas
i respect all the Kings guards but how embarassing that he could not mount his horse back on his own, i get it that this a class where they will learn all this, but still. you would expect a Kings guard to be in a bit of a better shape yeah.
I agreed! Accidents do happen! We all horse people have experience things like this one! People & horses aren’t perfect! We learn from mistakes! Besides that, you never know what will spoke the horses!!! I know as I had horses all my life!
The donkey didn't like the dwarf on its back !
These poor yet magnificent horses seemed sad and really bothered
Is it normal for a horse rider to not be flexible and strong enough to mount the horse alone?
OMG.... Talk about unfit for the job.
Now I understand why the horse spooked. This woman doesn't even know how to mount a horse properly. How is she in the mounted guard is beyond me..
Put an Aussie on it boys
What magnificent horses.
Quick Run Down- Horse got a stick stuck in it's tail and it spooked it, causing it to buck its rider in training. (Everyone is unharmed, tack is right, horse is trained, just spooked!) While it was running and bucking, it got the stick out, but was still too panicked so one of the instructor tells the other guardsmen to cut off its run; This is to help force the horse to think about where to go and what it is doing (break off the run = break in panic mode). Once the horse realizes all is calm around it, there is nothing stuck to it that shouldn't be, it calms down. (The shake to shake off the scare and chewing and licking for calming; thinking behaviors) This is where the explanation of the stuck stick story happens so you get that clarity No one is at fault except a mean sticky stick. Rider is not overweight for the horse, horse is well trained and cared for. Even the riding instructor who came to get the horse and check on it, kissed its nose to show it some love after its scary experience. And it even looks like the horse is telling her about how scary that was, throwing its head about but remaining calm. Its just a matter of learning!
Just seen these horses don’t get enough exercise. I mean, running exercise. And they hate the tack.
As anyone who rides can attest, we’ve all hit the ground….I have nothing but respect for them all!
Seriously, I'm so proud of her for getting back on, but maybe she needs to get in better shape first?
something in that saddle is most CERTAINLY hurting that horse
Maravillosos Caballos 👏👏😘
WTFFFF WHY HANDS TO KNEE NOOO HANDS FOR LEFT FOOT TO USE TO PUSH UP OMGGGG WHERES THE EXPERIENCED TO HELP. MY GOD!!!!
Horses can be very unpredictable. That baby wanted to run😂
mort aux rois
Very well done, you deserve respect for getting back on the Horse, hope your not to bruised. 👍🙏
Ok, the horse was working out stress. He got up to early 🤣.
i'm glad to see she had caring training officers, a lot has changed indeed, and for the better.
Everyone comes a cropper during riding school. It happened to me when I did this 50 years ago.
geezus let the horse have some relief let go f the reins ffs
Традиция - святое, но все- таки форму охранников можно несколько модернизировать. Люди не стоят на посту( хотя и на земле мобильность не помешает), а работают с сильным и быстрым животным. Всем здоровья и долгих лет службы.
HAY UE RECONOCER QUE LA EDAD Y EL PESO NOS LIMITAN Y SABER , LO QUE PUEDO O NO HACER AÚN, DIGAN EL ARGUMENTO QUE SEA PARA QUITARLE IMPORTANCIA. SRA. DEJE LUGAR A OTRA. YA SE HABRÁ LUCIDO MUCHO TIEMPO. ES JUSTO PODER DESCANSAR ,CON MI RESPECTO POR USTED, A MIS 71 AÑOS. SPAIN.😘👏👏
She did brilliantly under the circumstances!! A lot of people would have walked home, getting chucked off is no joke and very scary. It was obvious the horse was reacting and once back in line settled. Great to see the calm teamwork!! Well done guys!!!!
..the running horse just tries to get off that bothering thing called saddle off her back !!!😂😅😢😢❤
All broken horses.....sadly ....😢
Well now the queen as sadly gone theres no need for this.. just move on to modern day protection... itll be cheaper than feeding all those horses etc year round. That girl cant ride for shit ! These arent equestrians and you can see that... absolute piss take. Between this and the horses running chaos in london shocking horsemanship.
Wow take look at the spurs brutal and unnecessary
Riders fall off its happens all od say is the riders are at a true disadvantage with the riding gear they have to wear its stiff and heavy and completely not suited to riding horses in
😂,thats what happens when you keep horses locked in stables for 22 hours a day 7 days a week ,they can store up plenty of energy .😂..
I will judge, at 04:44 the rider is absolutely unaware of what she is doing with her feet and spurs her horse...
That horse was having none of that fat beach🐱🌹💃❤🌞
Allergien?
Remember that "there but for the Grace of God, go I"!
He is brazenly trying to incite a riot. He's acting like Stuey from "Mad TV." "Look what I can do!"
Too harsh the bits for them horses. People are so unintelligent
Old day military horse: 🚀💥💨😠 Modern day military horse: 😮😱 A TWIG!!!!!!
That's horses! I had one who could be ridden along a dual carriageway{a walkway ran alongside} while artics were thundering past.. But if he saw an umbrella he could freak.
@Oakleaf700 I know that's why I don't work with them anymore I worked a hunt yard for a while. And those horses spooked at nothing unless it was it a child in a raincoat or anything hi ViZ 😂 loud bangs gun shots dogs fast traffic. Knobs with loud exhausts not a flinch but the bright colour on a person sent them bolting 🤷♂️
Again a horse could have got seriously hurt because of this satanic lying sideshow .oh I thought you lot train without the sheepskin .so how come them horses the other week did not have them on them because it was a sacrifice that's why..what a joke put the pyramid on its head.so important.why are some with red pyramids and white .is the red caused blood with them riding the horse's .. makes you think
i think you need an exozist or take your pills wtf o.o
Can anyone tell me if those metal helmets are properly padded inside like a normal riding helmet or are they just bare metal ? Looks so dangerous being thrown off at speed wearing all that ceremonial metalware ! Well done lady troopers for getting back on, as a shortie myself I know what a hard thing that is to do, physically and mentally .
that rider is really out of shape ,,
Why would their uniforms be designed as an impediment to actually performing guard duties or military activities? A redesigned and functional uniform should be on the table for the next king.
Horses can get spooked at the lil thing. WHen I rode Mounted Police, my horse reared up when he saw a dead bird on the ground. It was scary as hell when he stood on his hind legs and i never knew my legs could hold so damn tight. but talking (yelling) to get through to calm down, he was ok. But you have to take care and always be aware of whats up. when we got back to his stall, he was so upset with himself and I spent 2 hours like a father talking to a son that he is ok and I would never let anything hurt him. he fell asleep with his head on my shoulder. Next day he was fine and ready to go to work. Bravo to these grand men and women of the Kings Guard. Respect them and their horses. Pax+
kudos to the woman for getting back. Falls happen in any discipline but the main thing is to keep going. plus we all start from somewhere. id also love to know what breed these horses are, so majestic and strong.
May ne they should stop with these costy and useless instits, and free horses ans men
That is a big horse, bless him..
What are you feeding the sources?
