Just did this to my sis car .. used alil engine silicone on the coolant valve conector as well ...works great and the stupid clamps I changed all them as well to real clamps not the junk they came with ( mind you im a female) so I was alil lost but I managed to to change the whole thing out like a puzzle ... WEPA 🎉 good info on the video Tnx !!!!!! Now to change the Heater core connections also and put good clamps !! Shame on Buick junk plastic all around !!!!

I started having problems Nov 2023, I took it to a "shop" twice and they can't figure it out. I'll be looking at my resovior and hoping it needs to be replaced and it's not a head gasket or cylinder head. Thank you for making this video!

You need a new thermostat housing if the thing the hose goes around broke. Same thing happened to my buick. Now im trying to figure out how to completely drain it now that ive put a new housing on it

Buick 2014 here same frieken problems! I've now learned how to work on it back to front with most problems being with the coolant and the valve cover.... Waiting on a radiator to come in. Going to replace it myself as where the coolant hose connects to the radiator on the top is also, you guessed it, MADE OF SOME SHITTY PLASTIC.... I've also found all the quick connects to the heater core are also leaking. Sooo just major coolant issues all around.

Have same problem just replaced the reservoir. And it's using coolant keep checking it so it doesn't overheat but I keep having an ad but I've been not sure if it was completely empty so I might just be topping it back off. Waiting to find out. May have to replace that little gasket you were talking about as well.

dodge Chrysler need to be sued class action law suit for the flaw and design of this vehicle I've read over literally 130000 comments out the course of 3 years on different you tube channels about dodge durango Dakotas and few more other vehicles dodge make its an incovience and costly problem that could have been avoided to the customer if they had a recall on parts like the cow panel wear its notorious an 90% wear it leaks all over the carpet at the driver and pass side when it rains it can and have destroyed motors im not understanding how they was able to do this and not be fined or fix this problem with a recall

Went through the car wash today and the sunroof was leaking. 30 minutes later the alarm went off and the indicators on the dashboard started flashing. Turn signals/radio etc wouldn't work now it has problems starting. I can hear a clicking noise under the hood

I had the same problem this past summer. Sunroof was the culprit, line was clogged . Removed fuse box and let it dry out. solved problem . But started acting crazy as of today . suspect fusebox went bad.

I just bought the same vehicle and had the same leak but I don't have a sun roof. Both passenger side and driver side carpets were wet everytime it rains.
