I sold the car, so I cannot common on long-term quality of these. I will say I feel they made a noticeable difference in the loudness and a very significant increase in "crackle and pops" while "engine braking". The CEL continued to come back here and there for me and the new owner which would lead me to at least check out other options. Maybe all sport cats will cause CEL (with spacers even), but I would at least research it as that was very frustrating and could affect your annual safety inspections / emissions check.

@@TenFPV ahh i see, thanks for the input! would you say its worth getting it or should i just stick with my performance exhaust. CEL popping up sounds like a huge pain i wouldnt wanna deal with

I think most want the crackle / pop... but the CEL yeah... not sure if it's worth the effort. I would at least google to see if all the sport cats are doing that.

Sold the car (and gave the buyer the AAwireless as I switched to iOS due to work) so I can’t comment on it sadly.

I installed them 2 weeks ago on my C8. Mobile not helping with the real sound. A lot of pops on acceleration and deceleration.

2020's didn't, 2021+ do.

They also raised the price to cover them. Kind of sad though, I feel they should fix the product so it doesn't need them rather than providing a band aide. We bought the sport cat option because we want to pass emissions tests and be legal while adding power...

Did a Chevy dealership install yours for you or did u have it do it on your own? I have the HTC and I want the dealership to install the sport cats but they r dragging their feet about doing it

I installed it myself, but obviously I don't have a HTC. I've helped a friend with their HTC and filling the DCT and it's def harder, but it's not impossible at least. Getting the airbox out was the biggest difficulty, like after the connections / bolts were removed I struggled maneuvering it out. You also may want to find a performance shop to do it instead of the dealership. Not sure where you live, in Houston I'd recommend Peitz Performance Tunes or G-Force Motorsports depending on the side of town. I'm sure there are shops all over that can help too. Not sure if you ordered the headers too, but just FYI I read that the 2M Headers don't fit the HTC, they come up too high. The sport cats should fit just fine.

I’m in NJ and the place that was recommended to me said they wouldn’t touch it if it’s still under warranty. Yeah while researching I found out the headers don’t fit so I only got the cars. Thanks for all your help. I really appreciate it

@@uf1978 Not happy anymore. Cannot use dash cam anymore because AA has its own wi if and it disables dash cam. My AA is now in my console, not being used. If you have a dash cam your out of luck.

Depends on the shop and how closely they pay attention to it imo. Also depends on your location, some areas (like California) will look a lot closer than others, while other areas are happy as long as it doesn't have a CEL.

Yes so far they are still off. I've driven about 800 miles with the spacers now.

@@TenFPV let me ask you something since I just got a c8 and I was wondering do you think it’s better to go with a fabspeed cat bypass wit 02 spacers so that the cel won’t go on for $1200 or should I spend $3000 and get fabspeed sport cats that promise it’s 100 percent no cel. Love for my c8 to by loud like urs but just got a hard time making up my mind and money wise aswell

Well read @Motley Mick's comment... he has the Fabspeed Sport Cats and his threw a code also! Would suck to spend $3000 and still get a code. I do think we should all run cats for street vehicles. So in all honesty I would probably buy the 2M again even though they threw the code and just do the spacers... then use the extra money to finish it off with a catback system. Not sure which as I want to retain all the valves and so it appears right now Corsa is the only option. I'm waiting for prices to come down to reasonable levels though...

@@TenFPV catless is a great option too, way cheaper and wont throw a cel with spacers. Also its up to personal opinion but catless can sound better than sport cats

From my understanding: Yes, the real data is sent via wifi. The Bluetooth only transmits setup info.

@@DrewPrice my music is not stored in my device, as I stream everything. Does that still work, even though it uses a wifi connection?

@@roflcopterninjaz I think there's a way of connecting to another devices wifi for both the dongle and the phone so that you can use the other devices connectivity but I have no exp with it.

2021 has wireless android auto / carplay. 2020 Doesn't. The only benefit of the 2021 over the 2020.

@@LarsTore Sorry, I tested it with my short cable (that worked with the phone) and couldn't get it to work. Perhaps a better quality short cable would work, but the one I have didn't. The cable that's included with it isn't very long, maybe 1 meter, so it's really not that bad.

Yes, steering wheel controls still work just fine and normal.

Yeah, cellular data still works just fine. I still stream music most of the time. If the car has it's own wifi hotspot for data, I've read there's a way to get it all to work just fine, but I don't pay for that service so I I have no experience with it.

Awesome, I hope it works as well for you as for me! I used it all weekend and it connected each time without any issues. Huge quality of life improvement. No more forgetting my phone in the car!

@@llai8501 No noticeable lag so far. I have only had one call with it and it felt like a normal conversation. I haven't "watched a video" or anything and I'm sure that's where you'll see/hear it the most.

If I power off the car and turn it back on yes it connects automatically.

Honestly it feels the same. I don't notice any latency between the two different options. I'm sure there is additional latency via Wireless vs cable, but it's not noticeable to me.

Not sure if you are asking about the spacers or the headers/cats. Headers / Cats were $1038.99 shipped. They did cause a check engine light for emission efficiency. Spacers were $44 off ebay, and so far they have prevented the check engine light from returning.

@@TenFPV You have a link to the o2 spacers you bought? According to 2M's website, the headers come with o2 spacers. Did those not work?

I got them off Ebay, the seller currently doesn't have any. But if you just search "45 degree o2 spacer" and pick the one with the catalyst (that isn't the fabspeed) they are all the same I'm sure.
