The first look is simple but looks soooo sophisticated. I Thought I am going to skip he Icy Nude palette because I own the Natasha Denona Xenon, I Need a Nude and the Retro palette which contain all the shades I need to dupe the Icy Nude palette. But the shade ICED OUT is soooo beautiful I think about buying it anyway just for this shade, but I found am similar shade in the Byzance Quad Parure Cristal from Chanel. I might buy it if I get like 20% off.

I think you need to analyse what the other influencers are doing to succeed and how they are doing this. The background we see for instance is very light and bright so I think that helps a lot adding luminosity for the viewers. Also, one thing I noticed is their level of energy…it needs to be a joyful experience for the viewers who take their personal time to watch some videos…I think you first need to decide why you are doing videos. What is your purpose? And is your heart in it? I admire you for doing it but I know it is very difficult…but if this does not bring you joy then you have your answer because people will feel it in your energy…. You are a beautiful person and there is potential to grow but perhaps you need to rethink the formula. Also, grieving the loss of our dog is extremely difficult but what I have been told is that the way to go through it is to have another pet. Anyway, food for thoughts my dear. I will be sad not to see you again but wish you to find your path. 💐💖

I am so sorry for your loss. I understand more than you will ever know. Mourning is difficult for everyone. Take your time and mourn at your own rate. As for UA-cam, it does take time. A friend of mine is on it also and it took her four years to reach 12 thousand subscribers. However do things for yourself. As for living in Canada with this gloomy weather, depression for many people is common. ❤

Hi Rach: Firstly, my condolences for the loss of your beloved dog. Secondly, if you do decide to take a break, I will remain subscribed and wait for you to come back. With respect to growth rate on YT, I have noticed that it has become much harder for newcomers to grow their channels. I started watching YT makeup videos around the time that Mel Thompson started her channel - her channel’s growth became exponential at around the 20K mark, after she had started posting almost daily. (And I may be mistaken but just prior to her untimely death, I had started noticing her numbers going down slightly - as she had started posting less frequently.) Another factor may be that YT has reportedly modified its algorithms in recent years (and this makes it more difficult for channels to grow and earn income). Other factors that (I have noticed) can influence the growth of a channel include: background, lighting, camera angle (straight on is easier for viewers), volume, YTer’s greeting and energy level, newness of product(s) being featured, and makeup application technique. (You probably already know all of this.) Thank you for featuring Huda’s last big palette - I don’t have any Huda eyeshadows but this one is tempting me quite a bit as I prefer light shades on my deep-set eyelids. Thank you for this great tutorial.

I think both your looks are beautiful. Love the lip too. I am so sorry for the loss of your pet. I lost my havapoo at 5 yrs old to oral cancer last February and still cry. Give yourself more time. You are a beautiful young woman, try to stay on UA-cam. I am going to subscribe to your channel now.

Huda loves warm and deep but also has a soft spot for some girly pinks. New Nude was a palette i took interest in for a long time but didn't get, then Rose Quartz seemed to be more up my alley but many shades that appeared more versatile, ended up as pink shimmers. Lucky me that her last palette finally includes light mattes. I don't need a huge junky palette if it cannot do my favourite everyday eye makeup. Both theme and great shades of Empowered hit the sweet spot, but nothing in there to keep it light and natural on fair-light complexions.

I was surprised when someone demoed the deep blush and it was very red.. very beautiful on any skintone! I have a fall blush post in the making, including these rusty browns. I'm waiting for my Vieve face palette but these blushes fit right in. Good to know that Latte is so close to Bronze Glow! Love comparisons! I too did not grab these Huda blushes, just bc of overkill after Armani and Vieve (and probably bulky packaging), but with the whole Icy Nude discussion i ordered the deepest red to try - these new ones are permanent though.

I love rephr brushes and i hate that so much , i really wanted the holiday but i cant get into squirrel hair that is a no u can shave a squirrel and i no that and i have pet squirrels so that is a no for me. I dont think the goat hair they hurt the goats god i hope not . I am vegetarian but i did buy a few rephr and sonia g brushes and i hate myself for it. I feel kike a hypocrite. I totally agreed with you my friend! I often think, even sometimes I bought collections sometimes I don’t! I’ve done videos for example Guerlain holiday release, I did and match same shades with last year palettes!! Repetitive shades, and very expensive new palette. It’s import what you said, and I’ll never compromise my channel even if I get affiliations. I buy all of my products my dear as I don’t advertise anything. BTW! I look everywhere for that cool tone Gucci lipstick you just swatch, it’s not available. I’m happy you got 113 Twinkly bc on Dior website look pinky but before buying it I compared all of the shades with twinkle and it’s a cool tone. I like the new Mario palette, it does run cooler in the shades and love the look. The sequin liquid lip appears to dupe the Ciate 'flip' liquid lipstick but latter more impactful. However I don't like matte liquid lipstck indeed the only type of matte lipsticks are the bullet ones from Pat McGrath as they are thin in texture will a little slip and moisturising. Take care x

While i wasn't thrilled about the Chanel holiday release, it was hard to convince myself to skip the highlighter bc their face powders are often absolute winners. I really need to calm down, my collection is bursting, i barely get to really enjoy new things for a while. Completely defeats the purpose. Stress and clutter vs joy! And yes, with yesterday's post i was brutally honest about the Dior collection. This community was made to not buy everything rolling onto the shelves. Therefore, really thankful to watch you and relax❤

O the Chanel drama😂 what they do is at least systematic. The Dior holiday release was the most discriminating, rudest crap i've ever experienced. Wait for my best and worst of Dior video..i'll add a full rant on how their successful social media marketing is ruining their quality after all.

Hi, I totally agree with you I don't trust on UA-camrs they sound so faked and I use the makeup I already have and panning shadows that's what I want by the way this palette seems to similar to Natasha denona glam palette so gray and don't like honestly, please continue talking about the pression and overwhelming situation about consumption ❤🎉

ngl top-tier beige lips recs for years!! just influenced me to get on ami colé excellence and matte carol beige (i go back and forth bc of $$ sometimes it looks like a gorgeous warm greige but sometimes orangey on swatches) once i finish some products. some personal recs: a.chi daily blur tint, unearthly khaki, 3ina 501 (shade great but formula no), kiko 02, and mac explicit.

Ooo shit girl that sucks ur mom got covid and u were with her. I have woke up with a scratchy throat for days but it comes and goes. I hope both of you guys feel better soon. I really want to get the Ami Cole dune stick , I want VB playground and mini skirt too and the Saie spicy 😂 I have a list of already existing stuff and new stuff I want. I love the darker more nude terracotta sunburnt type blushes and here we are still with pink pink and more pink blushes releasing . I wanted Fenty baken cakes but I swatched it in Ulta and it was to light for tan skin it looked pinky grey on me. I was looking at this brand called half magic and they have a blush called Brownie I want it looks so pretty when I swatched it and I did get their single eyeshadow in wet pebble and love it also Martina got me looking at the REM blushes and I swear I almost left with 2 and talked myself out of it but they did feel luxury and had those darker bronzer terracotta nudish type shades I wanted. So much is releasing and I am going crazy in my head what to buy what not to buy trying to talk myself out of stuff like will u use it alot. Waiting for the new liquid Armani highlight in shade 3 to release in the US and I want the new Givenchy pallet though I wanted the new Chanel highlight till I found out it's another freaken glittery one ??? Like why Chanel why can't u give us a nice smooth light highlight shade without the glitter. I didn't pick up that viseart pallet but I wanted it and kinda still want it. Their is a ton but we will see what I end up with trying to be smarter with my makeup purchases I only have 1 face 😂

Really enjoyed your vlog and of course your makeup. I am a fan of Westman Atelier, plus need to check out the MAC Greige lip liner. The lip treatments that have been nourishing for me have been by 1) Revive (v expensive) 2) Frank Body (Australia) 3) By Terry Baume Des Rose range 4) Dr Lip. I don't rate the Leneige one but will use any I get from beauty boxes during warmer months. Take care x
