Farm Grown, Country Strong

Приєднався 13 лис 2014
Welcome to Farm Grown, Country Strong's UA-cam page! Here we have videos ranging from modern farming to antique tractors and from country life to fun with friends and family! As a farm we run 200 acres and are located in Northeast Wisconsin. Along with being a small dairy operation, we also like to raise some cash crops every year such as soybeans or winter wheat.

Adding Four Wheel Drive To A Case IH 2166 Combine
For over 20 years the Case IH 1620 has been the faithful combine on the farm. That was changing with the purchase of the 2166, but we wanted to keep the Mudhog hydrostatic four wheel drive axle that the 1620 had. Doing some research, we found that swapping the axles wouldn't be that hard. We did that then, and everything went good. We also added bigger tires to the Mudhog axle. The old tires from the 1620 were getting pretty worn.

1948 John Deere A Bringing In Hay Bales
Переглядів 1537 годин тому
We're feeding a lot of first crop round bales to the heifers and dry cows right now, so we're making a lot of trips hauling the hay in. It was the 1948 John Deere A's turn today, and it was happy to go for a ride. It was also some two-cylinder therapy. We had a little rainfall this evening during milking, and I took a little walk out to see the crops. The corn was chest high last year at this time, but it was a little different this year! #farming #plant2024 #alfalfa #notill #soybeans #corn #wisconsin Find my children's book 'Zee Visits The Farm' right now on Amazon: amzn.to/3LgKv3b Malachi 4:2 Thanks for watching 😀

Yepp !! 2 Rows at a Time !!!!😊
We had an old corn chopper . I remember using the ensilage blower to fill silos 😮😊
That's doing it the hard way these days.
Nice
That Scotsman was clever .
Ha! Yes. Been feeling that way for decades. Maybe next summer!
That’s not a butternut.
How many calves did this one cow 🐄 have? How old is this one cow 🐮?
are you going to eat it?
Looking forward to a video on your new combine.👍😀
Beautiful video. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you for watching!
Incredible mechanisms, aren't they!
They are fascinating lol
Dude, it's a receiving jar, it receives the milk b4 pumping it into the bulk tank!
What type of combine did you buy? You and your dad have some very nice equipment.
We got a Case 2166 👍🏼
Just imagining those with OCD losing their minds looking in your haymow, lol. The cows couldn't care less how beat up the bales are- they just want to eat!
Why don't you stack the
You can come help if you want 🤷♂️
I would but I live in Canada Ontario
I grew up next to a field outside of Carlshamn in Sweden and got to see many agricultural machines working for a whole 16 years. The baling machine was cool, among other things, because it was like a "rolling drum machine." Also what memories and nostalgia it brings. 🚜🔊🥁🎼🎶⏳️❤️😁
@@Sebastian_George that's cool to hear!
Amazing video! I am subbing
AWWW❤
They want to play together
Why are you cutting so slow with a discbine? 10mph minimum up to 11.5 with mine.
My rows would be all over if I went any faster trying to hold a camera lol
Nice tractor and diskbine.
Id love to have one of thos old johndeeres with the putt putt to em
2016
Was a few years ago.
It’s awesome to see the old John Deere working. I have a 60 but it mostly sits in the shed. I wish I had more work for it.
That's the way to do it right now robotics or brown hired help around
Add some rear wheel weights and that ol' gal might just surprise you with what she can do with that disc.
Это ваш дом впереди?
Кукуруза 🌽?
Corn on both sides 🌽
Sounds good, just purrs
Fabulous!
Definitely nothing like the sound of the old John Deere makes!! Putt putt along!!!
It's what makes them special!
How did I know you were in 5th? :) Not quite the same bark as when she's working, but still that 2 cylinder sound you can listen to all day.
Yeah, she has a fast 5th!
Thanks for the update. The stand in both the corn and beans looks great. Yes, a lot of water this year. We've been averaging 2-3" /wk. This week looks drier, though.
Next week looks like it's heating up also.
I am Elijah of Malachi 4, the forerunner to the return of Jesus. Fake ministers all know Malachi 3 8 is telling THEM to return the money and Matthew 19 12 🏳️⚧️ says God prefers same-sex marriage and confirms transgender people are born that way. Fake ministers all over the world know the natural disasters, shootings, wars, diseases, famines, etc will get worse until THEY repent by returning the money and tell everyone they have known God prefers same-sex marriage and that transgender people are born that way. Male or female is determined by gender located in the soul not sex characteristics. JESUS was TRANSGENDER 🏳️⚧️🏳️🌈, a female man returning as a female woman in a lesbian relationship with a male woman. My wedding is already paid for and will be broadcasted all over the world. Acts 3:23 says that it will come to pass that anyone that fails to listen to me will be utterly destroyed from among the people. World peace is coming for those that remain and God's real people will soon transfigure and never pass on again.
How are the ends sealed?
They make plastic end caps you can put over the first/last bales. Another way is just wrap a dry bale at the end and that seals things up also.
What day did you get to plant? I finally planted what I could on the first of July.
@Dairyland-Dairyman we had a short stretch in mid-June where we could plant our corn and beans. Our dry hay didnt get done until last Monday because of the rains.
@farmgrowncountrystrong I was able to get my beans and one field of corn in the third week of May. It wasn't perfect conditions, but I got it in.... I've got most of my hay done. About 15 acres yet that I want to bale for heifer/dry cow hay, and some second cut that is ready to start since it's so spread out.
Anyone else see that wad of loose hay fall off the wagon, get caught by the wind, and drop perfectly into the next windrow? Apparently, it really wanted to be part of a bale, lol!
It was feeling left out, lol
When you get done you can come help me I’ll buy supper
Give me the time!
Did this yesterday on an Oliver 1850. Pretty satisfying. Until our rake gets plugged.
That's crazy
Nice machinery and very well explained !!
Thanks for watching!
This is great!
whoah it proper yeets em
