People are debating about why this lack of quality happened. Its pretty simple. The intro songs that they used to establish settings and character montages to show the passage of time in the first season were replaced by a canned 90 second theme song which foreshadows/spoils the upcoming events of the season. People dont realize how much of an impact this is having. There are only a couple episodes without the intro songs. Lets assume its 4. 90*21=1890 1890/60= 31.5 The average episode is only 24 minutes long. Simply dumping the song or redoing what they did the previous season would effectively add enough time for another episode plus 7 and a half minutes of content. This would allow for better character establishment. Better tone setting. It would allow for things to breath and not feel rushed... assuming it wasn't cut for time anyway.

I think the reason why Norn accepted Sylphy's decision to accept Roxy as Rudeus' second wife was thanks to Sylphy pointing out that Paul did the same and asked if she could say that to Lilia and Aisha as well. Norn's thought process was influenced by the Millis faith, but then she prolly realized that Paul also had 2 wives and their family turned out alright... Until the mana calamity happened that is. Altho i have to admit, she did recover pretty fast after knowing Paul's death. I imagined that she would take like a day or two to in her room to grieve for him since he was pretty attached to Paul. It was like the anger about the second wife thing completely made her skip the feeling of grief. Then again, also shows how strong the influence of religion is to one's thought process and feelings.

The last couple of episodes were peak spice.

Rudeus and Roxy are really shitty for doing what they did. But I can also understand why they did what they did and Rudeus sincerely apologized and put everything on the table. On one hand, I get where Norn is coming from, but on the other I can't help but feel a discussion like that should only happen between those directly involved. Tough to say. Overall everything worked out fine and everyone involved is happy and fine with it, except maybe Norn I guess? I feel that it made sense the way things played out, and it was completely in character and even foreshadowed the Sylphie would be fine with Rudeus taking multiple wives. The bad things Rudy did were cheat and lie. These things have been reconciled by the people involved, so I see no reason to get angry about it. Just wish we didn't have to wait years for season 3 now...

I just don't understand why there needs to be a consequence. Rudy was the only person who could have given himself a consequence that and he did. He couldn't speak up when he was called out and ultimately he was forgiven. The story goes on and the immersion is not broken. Listen people none of use can claim to be in even a fraction of a situation he was in nor do we live in a world with standards such as his. All we can do is try to understand and give sympathy or pretend we are right and scorn. He lost his father and mother and his hand..does he need more consequences for us to believe he deserves forgiveness?
