Sometimes Change Is Better... // WANDRD ROGUE 6L SLING BAG
I've been carrying around a fanny pack for many years now... It has a lot of positives, but also some big downsides. So after searching for a good alternative for a long time I made the decision to switch to a sling bag.

Damn, found you looking at some instax stuff, really well made, nice looking and sounding videos, love it. Keep it up, and the subscibers will follow!
Thank you so much mate! Appreciate that a lot 🙏🏼
What film did you use for the first shot of the cabin? The colors look so neutral and painterly.
That’s Portra 400! 🙌🏼
Shahbsz
🙌🏼
Didn't Lina say that the "Domke 711-12B Filmguard Bag" does not help when the film is send through a CT scanner?
The Domke bag doesn’t work a 100%. But it definitely helps a bit. Take a look at carmencita’s blog post about this. There you can see that it does some work.
@@TIPSinc01 I did read the blogpost before seeing your tube, and yes it does help. But as other people pointed out, if the operator is just turns up the level when they can't see something or if your film get exposed multiple times then the film is as good as dead. This is unfortunately something we have to live with.

Pretty little flash!
Very nice bag i have the 6 and 9 liters They are my favorite And in the back pocket you can fit an 11 inch iPad or a 14 inch MacBook 😁
Wait, in the 9L?! 👀
@ in the 6L if you look underneath the bag you can open the zipper and extend the space to fit the 14 inch MacBook WANDRD sell a sleeve to protect your device and the 9L can fit the 16 inch MacBook
Best video 🎉 understood everything so fast!
Thank you so much and that’s amazing to hear 🙏🏼

Never used that before but looks promising!
Nice! I use an old small Domke faded black basic small camera bag... I don't like to draw attention to myself and gear😂--and sometimes a fanny bag depending on my camera.
Very nice! Small & lightweight 💯

Bro? No more Fanny pack? Who are you and what did you do with Tips? 😅 this rebirth is fire bro 😎btw, welcome back bro. Hope all the personal stuff is taken care of and you are healthy, mentally and physically 🙏🏽 🫡
Thank you so much 🙏🏼 yeah it was time for a change haha… feels like I’m missing something when I step out of the door though 🥲
Nice video man ! This flash is interesting ! Seems like the combo of F11 - 1/30 - ISO 400 works pretty good !
Subscribed !
Yeah it does for sure! Thanks mate 🙏🏼
I still don’t have good frame of reference with DSLR scanning. What is the camera and pixels needed. I want to shoot medium format film but does it make sense to scan it with a lower resolution camera? Can you give more details on the specs of the lab/DSLR/scan resolutions? Thanks.
I think you shouldn’t really bother with the resolution too much. If you have a decent megapixel count it will be alright. Depends on how big you want to print it maybe. A lot of newer cameras even have a bigger resolution than lab scanners. It’s more about the quality of the sensor and definitely the lens. 🙌🏼
Does it allow for 35mm Panoramics?
I believe they have a special mount for that. But you’ll have to check their website or contact 🙏🏼
Really enjoyed this one! You always create such unique shots. Keep up the great work!
Haha love to hear that, appreciate it! 🙏🏼
Loved this video! I’ll definitely be putting these tips to good use with my Minolta X-700. Appreciate you taking the time to share with all of us!
You’re very welcome mate! If you have any questions feel free to ask! 🙏🏼
Super helpful video! I’m using a Minolta X-700, and I’ll definitely take these tips into consideration to elevate my work. Thanks for sharing!
Instant sub! Helped me greatly! Short, concise, and straight to the point! Love you bro, cheers 🍻
Love to hear that mate! Thanks a lot 🙏🏼
Someone laugh at me for teaching others to use old rules like sunny 16 and Looney 11. Are old knowledge in photography still relevant today?😢😢😢 i felt so down with that comment.
That’s crazy… why would it be different? 😂
@@TIPSinc01 he just show a picture of some setting maybe he's an expert or something. I am just helping a fellow where to start to have a better understanding by using the old rules.😢
I guess they’ll never learn then lol. Because something is old, doesn’t mean it’s not the right way or good.
Awesome bro📷💯love Amsterdam
Got to go back sometime!

this is great thank you!
You’re very welcome!
No joke i ACTUALLY took notes.. you are simplifying what seems to be a very intimidating and advanced technique to beginners. Subscribed!
Thanks man and I’m glad you learned something from it! Let me know how it goes and if you have any questions feel free to ask!
Good one. Since this video, have you started using NLP function for Positive Copy instead of exporting/importing in LR?
Thanks mate! No I haven’t… but I’m weird about things that I’m used to 😂
too much talking.
✌🏼
when you shoot it at 400 instead of 800 do you also let them know in development? or do u develop at box?
Just develop as box speed!
How was the lens bro?
I’m still getting my first steps with it. Stay tuned for a first impression!
Wow! Nice shots!
Thanks mate! 🙏🏼
With 35 mm you should really try to use a duplicating-attachment like Nikons ES-2. It screws right into the filter-thread of the lens and makes a handy package and is so much easier tomuse. Insert negative, fine-focus as needed. No more adjustments needed, no problems with camera shake, use whatever lightsource you like, flash or LED. A real treat after using a copy-stand for some time! 🎉
I’m not using a Nikon to scan my work anymore. But it looks like something that could work!
@@TIPSinc01 The make of the camera doesn't matter much. I'm using the ES-2 on my Fuji adding some extension on the filter-side of my Micro-Nikkor 2,8/55 Ais. All you need to adapt it to any other Macro-lens is just a cheap set of filter-adapters.
Love these shots! Fantastic colors but even better compositions. As someone who loves shooting in rain, I’m still waiting to have the courage to take the M11 out in the rain. I don’t baby my gear at all, but Leica’s pretty vocal about the Ms not being weather sealed. Great to see the M6 was a champ!
Thank you so much man! Yeah I don’t know about the M11, would think they could handle a bit of rain. But it’s a lot different than the M6 of course with all of those electronics.
The flash cord you take the one for Olympus/Panasonic ?
I’ve got the Nikon SC-29
@@TIPSinc01 And it works with your Leica Combo M6 & SF20?
@@matthiasf.1577 yes it does!
Fun! I tried XP 2 recently and immediately bought another roll! Loved it!
Yeah it’s an amazing stock right!
This concept of the mystery box! Great episode, yet again!
It’s a great concept right! Thanks a lot 🙏🏼
Amazing video once again!
Thanks a lot mate! Glad you enjoyed it! 🙏🏼
2010, and he still sound just as amazing
🫡
Great video. Super informative, helpful and no fluff. Subbed.
Love to hear that! Thanks mate! 🙏🏼
I have also 28mm 2.8 for my Canon AE-1 and at once I made myself shooting one roll of film only on it and it was a torture 😂 Living in Europe and making photos on this focal length is difficult, it’s simply too wide. As for everyday this is a good choice for Hong Kong I believe. Otherwise the objects are too far away and too small
Depends on what you photograph I guess? A lot of the time I need something wider than 28 and I live in the Netherlands lol. 🤣
@@TIPSinc01 that’s it, for me there is nothing where I need 28mm and I’m wondering how do you do this 😅 Occasionally I think that my 50mm is a little wide and I need to narrow down the picture but that’s another story
@@Xisbrezatsgzormd I guess it’s because I really get close to the subjects that I photograph. With street work, events or just a day out with the fam!
@23:24 Jesus. lol, some microspikes are affordable and light to carry. great story and experience though! Seemed like an amazing trip, thanks for sharing! Backpacking the entire tour du Mont Blanc is actually on my bucket list, gotta make it out there with a buddy or two sometime! We've got the sierras here in California but damn, Chamonix is something else.
oh, and wonderful photos, dude, good stuff
Haha yeah I didn’t know I was going on that snow 😂. You’re welcome and thanks a lot for watching! California is also on my bucket list, but you’ve got to visit Chamonix when you’re in Europe for sure 👍🏼
Thanks man!
Those krks are freaking huge
Haha yeah they are 😂
Can't wait to see new videos with sample photos!
Coming up soon! 🙏🏼
Goede keuzes!
i have the 28mm, the 50mm looks so small!!
Nice! Yes that 50 is so incredibly small, insane!
Interested to hearing your thoughts on the 28mm Voigtlander. Going to pick up a poor man’s Leica, aka Leica cl or minolta cle, with that same lens to get started on my rangefinder journey.
Very nice! Yes stay tuned because I’ll cover everything! 🙏🏼
Don’t they both have minimum focus .5? Are you worried about not being able to focus by feel since the close focus is past what you can see in the rangefinder?
Yes they do, but I don’t worry about it. I’ve had this on my 35mm ultron for years and you’ll just know when you’re taking a shot. You’ll notice the rangefinder patch not moving. Never had a problem with it so I think with these I’ll also be fine.
I have read that the type 1 versions are .7 minimum focus and are said to be better suited for film/rangefinders… all of which sort of goes over my head as I’ve never shot with a rangefinder before. However, from my layman’s perspective, and from a shooting experience perspective, the focus tab on the type 2 seems a bit more desirable compared to the knob in the type 1, no?
@@antnguyen well, I don’t know about the V1 28. But the V1 ultron 35 also had a knob and the .5 focusing. Trust me you’ll have no problems with it.
@@TIPSinc01 hmmm, great to hear it then! might consider the V1, will wait for the review
Just got these aswell a vew weeks ago. They're so sooo good. They weight almost nothing and the image quality is exactly what you expect from Voigtländer. The 50 has a lot of character in my opinion.
Nice! Yeah the weight and sizes are so perfect really. Can’t wait to see those results! 🙏🏼
28mm and a high megapixel body is the way to go. Unbeatable.
What about a 28 and shooting on film? 😂
@@TIPSinc01 hahaha, I know… :)
@@TungstenOvergaard 😂
We want more cats!!!
I’ll ask them, but they charge me a lot for it 😂
Awesome can’t wait to see some pics and especially how you get on with the 50! I think good choice in switching it up!
Yeah I think so too, it was time! Stay tuned because I’ll cover it all 🙏🏼
oh sweet! can’t wait to see what you create with these, and looking forward to the long term review!
Thanks man! Yeah can’t wait either 🙏🏼
Interested to see some photos! I've been a 35 only for the past 8 years or so. I've wanted a 28 or 50, but never had the money haha.
