viola sound is lovely, but but.... there are a couple of little coordination problems.....

I am amazed. Didn't notice at first (large screen needed), but on piano sits a very young fellow. Could be Vadim Lado's son or other relative. But what an stunning talent... would be the guy a teen ! (?)

Really excellent player but there's something bulgey about his sound. Swelling every note in a string sounds bulgey after a while. Also, sounds like the support's about to drop out at times. Still, many strong capabilities too.

I really like Vadim Lando's playing. This is a difficult piece to achieve good balance in as the viola tends to blend in while the clarinet can stick out. Lando is extremely diplomatic, never overshadowing the viola (or piano) and yet still playing extremely musically. Slight tuning problems (in entrances) are forgiven, for what is otherwise a first-rate performance.
