Watching this brought back memories of my one and only Whit Friday encounter in 1968! On and off the Wallace Arnold coach quickly to get to and play at as many places as possible. Well done to the band for uploading this and I hope you did well ps liked the march and solo cornet.

I played this fanfare at our beacon lighting ceremony last night in Banbury Oxon. As I am unable to sight read music, a colleague played it for us on a keyboard and myself and another bugler were able to learn it from that. However, the timing we were given was far slower than how this is played in the you tube clip. None the less, it was enjoyed by many people at the event.

It's a lot shorter and easier to learn than the pipe tune "Diu Regnare" ( a 4-measure 6/6, so 64 bars in all) ! Good luck on 2nd June !
