I've also seen these engines mated to the T-5 transmissions (cheap out of 80s mustangs). Rover and Buick engines are the way to go, particularly for light weight.

yes i put spacer drums on the back and standard spacers on the front and got sum long studs for the rover minilite wheels .

did you add wheel spacers or anything, i want too add wheel arches to a mini but how do i move the wheels out more?

Oki, cause I'm thinking of replacing the 3.5 rover engine with an injection 4.6L Range Rover engine. I have already a rover V8 SDI gearbox

its basically the same but would need a diffrent gearbox to cope with the increased torque pretty much the same

Nice car! How different is the 4.6L to install compared to the 3.5L Rover engine?

hei man.i want you to help me.i hav a body.and dont know wheter i should take the car to be sand blasted or wheter i should sand it by hand.car has rust on it.

i did paint it we have a spray booth and it was my first time for properly preping a car the colour i used is a leyland daf blue matalic and the white is diomond white and bits of daf silver its all lorry colours but looks mint wen washed the silver brings out the blue

yeh mate. Im have two mini's. a 1975 clubman elc and a 1971 mini clubman 1100. Im merging both of them together to make one good mini, and then converting to a round nose flip-front.
