I find it most interesting how this version leaves out the “fasting” in the below verse: 1 Corinthians 7:5 .~ Do not deprive one another except with consent for a time, that you may give yourselves to fasting and prayer; and come together again so that Satan does not tempt you because of your lack of self-control. Why would the whole word be taken out of the translation? Since fasting is important...

I just find it strange how most of these version has missing verses or words change to mean something else. John 7:53-8:11 King James Version (KJV) 53 And every man went unto his own house. Why was this simple verse excluded?

I found it strange why this version leaves out part of verse 3 and the whole of verse 4: John 5:3-4 King James Version (KJV) 3 In these lay a great multitude of impotent folk, of blind, halt, withered, waiting for the moving of the water. 4 For an angel went down at a certain season into the pool, and troubled the water: whosoever then first after the troubling of the water stepped in was made whole of whatsoever disease he had.

John 3:13 ~ And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven. Please notice that this verse in the translation you are reading from leaves out a very important part of the verse.

I enjoyed this chapter so much, I memorized it.

This is my favorite chapter in the Bible. Tolerance. Love our fellow man. Respect the faith of others. Respect an individual's right to serve God in the way God has lead them. Enjoy the freedom just serve God in the way he has led you or me.
