I feel that a lot of older jutsu lack utility. For example, lightning blade/chidori. All it does is send you flying at the opponent to deal damage with light super armor. But it has no debuffs or bonus effects. Compared to other and newer jutsu, it doesn't really do anything that another jutsu can't do. I mean, the move is accurate to the source material as it is now so I see why no changes were made to the move but I wish it was made more viable in the current meta. One idea I have for it is to lower an opponent's close range attack damage if you hit the jutsu. Or, a more radical idea I have is if you are using a bladed weapon, after using lightning blade your weapon becomes imbued with lightning style chakra, making your next attack have a paralysis effect. So swords, kunai, and senbon could benefit from it.

Everything you saying means nothing the main problem in this game is clans ! Too many ppl cheating and teaming in the pit etc . I barely play now because I’ run into that way too much. I seen that “sera” player in your footage they be cheating they “a** off”

Regarding survival mode, they did this to themselves with some of the fundamental design decisions they made, even without adding broken stuff. E.g. the dash s being too much combined with 99% of jutsu being undodgeable with dash frames, which tells people to stay out of jutsu range period (unless they have some get out of jail free like armor/sharingan/obo), easily backflip away from normal attacks, and only engage with their own jutsu. Little things like the way that charge attacks for most weapons resolve prior to actually reaching someone, and half the weapons having had broken combo strings for years (on a side tangent, it's totally insane that they nerf weapons by removing combo potential while keeping the most annoying/broken things about them, looking at Guiding Threads, Flame Control Sword, and the purple dual lightsaber). Optimal play would still be degen in this game even if the only jutsu around were like leaf rising wind and fireball, but adding the things they did obviously didn't help.

Super armor is fr a prob in this game. But lemme tell ya smtg rq. While I was running NWL, I confronted some dude rocking susanoo armor. I AINT DONE YET. He had master of medicine in his pocket and it sure was hard as $h1t to put him down. But to top it all off, this dude rocked KAMUI, YES KAMUI. Like everytime he runs out of the effect, he gets it back instantly and eats it again. As a ranged main, I managed to put him down with sum struggle. The only thing he lacked is actual skills which is obvious since he was running a full super armor build which takes little to no skill. I bet you musta gone thru the same shii as I did. In my opinion or probably as a matter of fact, this build is fosho the most irritating one to deal with when it comes to running the ones especially😪

At this point, it can only go two ways: reduce the amount sources of super armor in the game or increase the amount of super armor counters. There is a radical third option if they decide to rework what types of super armor each source gets. But the biggest problem right now is that if someone decides to run 2 super armor ninjutsus, a super armor substitution , a super armor ninja tool, on a defense type that gets super armor on their heavy attacks, you would need just as many super armor counters in your loadout to fight them fairly. The only other option is to just run away, but since they have so many sources of super armor, they can just cycle them and be in a constant state of super armor. There will never be an opening to fight them without being at a disadvantage, so there is no point in fighting them at all.

The devs have gotten so focused on the dlc and gacha system instead of fixing different problems and adding actual content that the community has been wanting for YEARS, it is actually so sad to see smh😪
