@@VLADISLAVSKRIPAY я ей пользовался кажется когда она была то ли 17, то ли 19 версии, не понравилось мне в ней отсутствие снаппинга по оси надеюсь сейчас его туда завезли...
@@VLADISLAVSKRIPAY сейчас как по мне есть только три варианта особо одарённый блендер, некрофилия от автодеска и синема так что выбор очевиден (это на самом деле грустно)
Снапинг всегда был, ты его не нашел просто. И по осям и относительно какой либо поверхности или точки. В общем все тоже самое что и везде. Пал выбор на Синьку, ибо блендер мне не понравился, постоянные вылеты и зависимость софта от комьюнити, меня такой расклад не устроил)

Why not use smoothing groups? It seems faster especially in this case. Or maybe in that case it does not give a proper bake/ or does not store the value in the vertex map? I havent used baking for a while. In case you just want fast surface shading change for no separate vertex map you can also use: 1 select the area you want to have unified surface shading 2 go to Geometry/Polygon/Smoothing group UI/ Pick a letter like "a" for example Select other surfaces that have other shading properties (like bevel here) pick "b"
The smoothing group are already active) But you can insert it as it is, but there will be artifacts in game engine
@@VLADISLAVSKRIPAY yeah my bad, smoothing groups info is not stored in vertex map, so normals wont be affected in engine... Thanks for the tip. Also for making Modo tutorials... ;)
@ Yes, everything is fine) Given that Modo will no longer be updated, and the developers stop developing the software. All manuals, videos and lessons will be according to the Cinema4D
@@VLADISLAVSKRIPAY understandable. Yeah Modo is a sad story... It is still the most capable software for low to mid poly hardsurface stuff for games... Whish Foundry had better marketing, management, and understandibility of their own software.
I can't agree that it's the most powerful, it was just the most convenient of all.

Modo is dead now, foundry will not continue the development of it, on nov 7 they announced that they wont keep working on it anymore, what alternative 3d software will you use?
Yes, I'm very sorry that they abandoned the software... I can't say yet what software I'll use in the future, but I'll make an announcement soon.

Это стоковая модель, цена разумная в полне и не кусается, доступная всем. Дорого будет если на прямую совершить заказ. А так эта модель окупила потраченное время уже во много раз не смотря на маленькую цену.

It's like a classic modeling problem. The sky's the limit with what we can do here. I'm having a hard time following. Could you please rephrase that? If not, no worries.
@@VLADISLAVSKRIPAY hey no prob. Check remesh hipoly techniq and you will see how fast you can become. Also all the details made by subdiv dissapear because you have too much details on the asset. No space for eyes to rest. Check 70/30% rule for com,position :) hope it helps :)

Я проработал в Maya очень долго, инструмент застрял в развитии очень давно. Софт хороший не спорю, но после теста всех программ я выбрал Modo, это удобство, большой функционал и приятная цена. Если в коротко сказать то за годовую цену Maya, мне хватит 3 года оплачивать MODO)
