I know what suspended chords and inversions are. If you showed me the sheet music I could identify them and tell you what chords they are. But I cannot identify them by hearing the music.

Sounds terrible!

This keyboard has great sounds, however the software interface is HORRIBLE!! TOO COMPLICATED! I've had this keyboard for months, and yes, its easy to search different categories and sounds that come with the keyboard, and I even loaded some new ones from the Yamaha website that are cool. HOWEVER, sometimes layers and splits are unreliable as some notes just won't play. And editing any sounds or splits is TOUGH. Navigating the screens is complicated and not user-friendly. Trying to edit effects is complicated. The thick manuals don't help either.

For some reason I am completely unable to save scenes like this. How do you do it? I've followed the instruction - turn parts on (or off) set volumes, etc, and then click Shift/(Scene button). But it never saves the scene changes. It will change back to scene 1, but when I select Scene 2/3/4 etc, it just stays on Scene 1. What am I missing?

Hey, you know more than you are actually explaining here... It would surprise me that the "trick" that is in your mind is actually to think that "Bb is C" and so on. Why don't you explain the whole and half steps that make up a scale? Or do your ears just recognise the sounds of you want to hear? Also it's not correct to compare a mode (aeolian) and a scale (Cm) with each other, because those are completely different things.

How did you load your presents in the MoDx7 because I know those are not The Piano sounds

For this kind of sounds I prefer computer libraries than hardware, they sound better to me. Still the Montage M acoustic guitar sounds better than other brands.
