YES you DON'T need to have one aesthetic: you can put on a fairycore fit, but it takes quite a lot of accessories in my opinion, its more thought out. Then there are days where you are lazy and don't want to waste so much energy so you choose e "clean girl" vibe, like more simple and essential. That's it, theres no need to go crazy about it my god

I can't put this into words but we all dress the same trying to look different? Like i see on Instagram posts selfie with the baggiest jeans and you can SENSE how "cool and different" that person feels. But in reality you look around and the only people wearing skinny jeans are boomers moms? Like you're not even allowed anymore to wear skinny jeans. I hate this so much. Also I do buy on Shein cause im extremely poor and i have social anxiety so its not often that i go thrifting. But im so tired of all these trends. Let's not even talk about make up trends. It became all so boring, im insecure in every single outfit of mine. Those fashion trends apply for the majority of time only on extremely skinny people and thats so unfair. Its just clothes god.

I am not judging the actor for Regina at all because i think she's beautiful and it is wrong to judge peoples bodies but Regina in the movie is always SUPER careful with how many carbs she's eating in the movie but in this she isn't super skinny and that confuses me a bit? :/

I think this issue is not exclusive to the Mean Girls remake, I feel like characters’/actors’ outfits in a lot of recent films look like brand new costumes, whereas they’re supposed to look like something the characters in the film would actually wear regularly ? I think what I’m trying to say is that outfits in a lot of recent films look too new and artificial, which really takes you out of the film. For example I rewatched Avengers Assemble (2012) not too long ago, and something just felt. . .off; I then realised that it was because the actors, costumes looked just like costumes, Thor’s armour and hammer were too shiny, Captain America’s suit was too bright and too blue etc. I think a lot of recent films/shows do this, such as Netflix’s live action Avatar, the actors clothes look like they were taken straight from the shipping packaging.

For someone who recently graduated college. I have a few fashion takes myself. Depending on where you’re going for college, always bring sweaters, rain jackets(I went to a college where it mostly rained) and some rain boots. I didn’t really party until my 3rd year of college. I mostly just wore a hoodie and biker shorts or a Hawaiian shirt, a tank top and some jeans to parties. I mostly experimented with my style A lot but I’m still trying to find what fits me. I mostly just stuck to comfortable clothes but you best believe I’m gonna bring it at parties

I used college as a time to really experiment with my style, and I ended up wearing some things that I definitely wouldn't today, so I strongly suggest that if you're gonna experiment then 1) wear only one 'new' or 'out there' thing at once and 2) have a backup in your backpack. Can't tell you how many times I ended up changing out of a skirt that was just a bit too short (I'm tall) or I was grateful to have some ballet flats rolled up in my bag bc my shoes were Not It.
