We used to catch saugeye and walleye by the spillway back when I was younger too. I know there are some computer programs that will decode and send CW but I am not familiar with them.

Thank you. The speaker is just a small battery powered Bluetooth speaker. I’m not sure on the brand. It says AYL on the front. I got it off Amazon several years ago.

Hey John I am running around 20 wpm. I started learning Morse code around June of 2022 and it took around 6 months before i felt like i could do an activation running about 15 wpm. The best thing i have done is just listen to code when I'm driving and try to head copy. Ninja Morse has a great collection of podcasts that i listen to when i am on the road. I hear it’s still pretty good fishing though I have never fished it myself.

I think I started around 23 wpm then dropped down to 20 towards the end.
