Heartland Prowler 303BH 18 Month Review
Just a review of my Heartland Prowler 303BH I purchased new in July of 2022. I forgot to mention in the video but I also had and still have an issue with my gray tank. If I keep the gray tank valve closed and the gray tank fills up it leaks under the camper under the under belly. So i just keep it open all the time which keeps it from doing that. Also, the extra A/C unit I installed I am running off the 20 amp breaker at the power box. I am also running a secondary heater off the 20 amp breaker at the power box in the winter since the inside plugs will always trip if you try plugging either up to the camper itself. Hope this video helps.

Just thought I would make a video of my dog pen and dog houses I built. Was really easy, many times larger than the chain link ones and came in well under half the cost. Just thought I would share to give others looking to build one some ideas.

Fixing up an Old Fiberglass Boat

Just a video of all the work I have done to this old boat. This is a 1975 13 foot fiberglass boat. It belonged to my great grandfather. I do not work on boats and have no prior experience doing any of the stuff I have done on this boat so far. It has been a learning experience to say the least. I am sure there are a 100 things I could have done better some how or another but I am learning as I ...

John Deere E130 / S130 Review
Переглядів 8 тис.3 роки тому
Just a review of my JD E130 mower. It has 58.1 hours at the time of this recording. Overall it has been a great little machine. Just my thoughts and opinions on it.
Stupid question but. Is your black tank the left handle?
Anything new to add a year later?
Take a good look at the furniture. They used wood with bad wood, just cheap. They cut my slide out so bad they had to put back buddy to fill the cracks. Didn't seal the left side of slide out
If an EMP hits, it would be a good way to get around.
I live near Birmingham also. I have a 2023 can-am 450 ... it's a good machine, but I will never buy anything from big #1 again.... they're crooks. ... that rear compartment gets nice and toasty, the muffler is right under neath it. ... but it is water tight.
I will say...I bought my son a go-kart last year for Christmas and they were wanting right $4800 plus tax and fees for the same go-kart I bought in Prattville for $3400 out the door so anything they sell I can almost guarantee it's cheaper elsewhere. Aside from that. Congrats on your new ATV buddy.
@remc576 do you live south of B'ham ? ... I'm always looking to meet new people to ride with. I'm camping at minooka park in a few weeks, should be fun.
@@gearjammer2107 in Chilton County? I'm about 20 minutes from Peach Park. Exit 205. And yea. I need to get out and ride this thing. I don't even have 70 hours on mine yet
@remc576 I'm about 25 minutes north of you in shelby county, exit 238. I went to top trails about A month ago. Omg!!! U should have been there. It was a disaster. I had no idea where I was going, i got buried in the mud, had to winch myself out.
@@gearjammer2107oh gosh lol. Mine is still bone stock. I don't have any big mud tires or anything on it or a winch for that matter. I would like to go somewhere that has a bunch of trails vs just a big mud hole. But that's just me lol
How old are your kids ?looking to buy one for my 9yr old son but he's only 4 ft 1 would he be tall enough to be able to reach pedals and see still?
it would be a bit of a Strech but as a 14-year-old I fit perfectly but I am 5 10 but 5 4 it probly the shortest :D
Any issues with it? I’m looking at buying one for my son.
Does it have mist sprayer
Does this have a type of dif lock for the front end
No...just flip a switch
It has the visco auto locker so kinda
Could you please explain how to prime this sprayer?? Mine is new but it won't prime up

Just bought this for my son on his birthday two days ago. Seems to be a pretty good little cart. What issues have you had since purchase.?
So far just had to replace the belt. $13. But that may have been because my wife and cousin was on it going up a hill. Other than that this thing has been awesome. Kids love it. They ride the heck out of it.
I just bought one of these for my atv. I can't wait to try it out.
I'm sure you will be happy with it. Works great for hauling firewood.
Any problems with the belt wearing out?
The belt it came with wear out. Was easy to replace and cheap thank goodness. It happened with 2 adults on it going up a hill. But they were definitely under the weight limit of what the cart is rated for but maybe the hill was too steep. Only time will tell if this is going to be a constant problem or not.
Great video, just yesterday I was wondering how to keep the wand attached. Thanks
I have a 2022 s 130 heat from engine burns holes in grass every time I stop to turn or stop to take a 2 minute break called jd they told me not to stop on grass 😮but to drive to the side walk or drive way they said never stop on grass heat from engine is burning your grass!
Wow. I have not had that problem with any mower I have ever used. That's crazy. Something is definitely not right if you are having that issue.
DRIVE IT in the video. Wtf
Not much to see. I will have to get one of my kids to drive it next time. You got to be short to get in it
@@remc576 My son is 12, 5'6" 150lbs. He's very timid when it comes to motor vehicles so I didn't want to get a "big" utv. Do you think this will be too small for him to ride comfortably? I know he'd probably outgrow before long anyway but Im not worried about that, if he gets a couple years out it
since childhood dreamed of such a car
OMG, ❤ the pupper!
Haha that's our little ranger. He's a big puppy now though lol
Where did u buy it ?
I bought it locally at a place in Prattville, Al. It's still brand new I know but it's still running great. Kids ride it every time they get the chance
How much did you pay? How much they charge you to put together? Thanks
I paid just under $3400 for it put together...but some places in my area wanted another $1200-$1400 for the same one put together. So definitely shop around. I think some shops tack on there $100-$150/hr shop rate to put them together.
Just ordered the cheetah EX 300 cc. Can’t wait for it to arrive!
No kidding. Congrats. I am sure that one will be nice. These little Cheetahs are sharp looking machines!
When one pays attention to the ranchers and small farmer and their ATVs, I see so many with weed sprayers on them. These ATVs are compact work trucks. :-) I placed an order for an Outlander Max, the tandem 2-seater, in June and it appears I'll get it in early December, so I'm looking forward to that!
A summer purchase is turning into a heck of a Christmas present it sounds like...and yea..I love this ATV. Haul wood around all the time with it with my little ATV cart I got...and the tank sprayer is awesome...used a 4 gallon back pack sprayer for years and that thing will wear you out but it's easy work just riding around on this thing. Congrats on your new ATV buddy.
I like it alot, but the ball attachment pin hole won't align properly on mine. I think they drilled it to short by just a tiny bit off. I probably got the only one that won't align. Lol... bad luck.. I tried for 20 minutes and gave up trying to use it with a ball mount. It sort of frustrating because I usually have a ball on my atv most of the time. And now I always have to go through anguish and remove the ball and put a different hitch on without ball.....but I do think it's a well made durable off road cart...
Sounds like your luck is about the same as mine lol...I haven't tried putting a ball on it yet. Curious if I am going to have the same problem you did now...one thing about this cart that makes no sense to me is the grease fittings on the tires...it is so hard to get the grease gun onto the fitting...I bought a flexible grease gun hose thinking that would solve my problem but it is still hard as all get out to get it on there...other than that...love this cart
Lugging around a big ass battery, can't be any more work than a small 4hp motor...
It's a lot more work actually... unless you buy an old junk motor then you are for one going to want to be careful with the motor and not beat the hell out of it when hauling it around in the back of your truck vs a battery you can just throw in the back of your pickup...plus you have to have a motor stand to store the motor when your not using it...I personally never trusted to throw that motor on the "transom" unless it was in the water so you have to walk out in the water and mount it on the back of the canoe which isn't a big deal in the hot summer months but it is a big deal when it's cold outside...and honestly speaking from experience having owned this thing for many years now...I wouldn't recommend someone spend the money and put a motor on these...a trolling motor will move it along just fine with 2 adults, a child, and all your gear. Your not going to be running from one side of the lake to the other but I have went out in it for 8 hours at a time and still had 50% battery left on a 1000CCA marine battery from Walmart...not saying that you could turn the trolling motor on for 8 straight hours wide open but it will get you where you need to be for sure... it's still just a canoe at the end of the day after all.
😎👊🍻
Good video.
Thanks
Slick!
Thanks
Great review. Love to hear real people using them as expected. I’m in south GA, buying a used one with 25 hours on it. Let me know how this is running!
Almost at a 100hours now with zero issues.
Nice machine!
Thanks
My E120 is on its 3erd season 65 hrs and is just like new. No problems. I keep a trickle charger on the battery all year long(battery tender Jr.), so it fires up on the first try, every time. You're right, about regular oil changes(every season for me), keep it greased, clean and it will last a very long time.
I got mine from Lowes, but it was still in the crate and had to wait til a guy from John Deere to come and put them together. Was told that John Deere don't let anyone touch their equipment
Well that's good to hear. I was walking into Lowe's 4-6 weeks ago and it was raining outside and as I am walking up to the door I see all the mowers and what not and one of the craftsman push mowers gas cap was completely missing. Mentioned it to someone inside and he just kinda laughed and said that he had seen it to. Whoever buys that one is not going to be a happy customer lol. Luckily I have not had any problems with mine and hopefully don't anytime soon. Enjoy your new mower
I just purchased one of these for $300. I own a Bronco and love it. Looks like it could have used a seasoning and that's why you have rust and it's not covered, but yes it's a great low cost grill\smoker. You could still season it inside and out.
I still may and try to season it. If it bothered me more I guess I would but this thing works great. Just smoked a big ole Red Snapper Throat in it that I caught this past weekend. Made for a delicious lunch.
@@remc576 excellent!
Yes I have had my E130 for 4 years and I have had no problems with mine ,I got over 200 hours on it right now,A great mower
That's awesome.
@@remc576 Yes THANK you Friend, like you said if you take care of your Lawn Tractor and do all the needed maintenance they will last a long time
My la125 is 13 years old runs great and I bought a e130 2 years ago no issues dont let people tell u Briggs is junk thats all I ever owned was Briggs never had issues I just sold them to get new after having them for so long just wanted something new lol
That's how I feel about my Troy Bilt push mower. I'd like to get a new one but I keep waiting for it to finally give out but it just keeps running. It has a Brigg's on it.
@@remc576 one more thing if u use 5w30 synthetic which briggs recommend me to use it won't burn any oil 10w30 oil in hot weather it uses it for a fiew bucks u can get rid of the quick change crap thats what I did I can use castrol edge and a premium oil filter for less then what the quick change oil filter just because it's a cheaper tractor the one I sold is 14 years old now its still going strong and its a single single cylinder
@@jp-us9rq thanks for the info buddy
Don't believe everything you here about these machines being junk, they are not junk. Mine is a 2011 D130 and it just turned over 400 Hours and though I do more maintenance than the average homeowner it still works just the same as when I first bought it. I retired from small engine work so I have a tendency to look after my machines but this just shows that these units can outlast any brand on the market.
I agree. Maintenance plays a big part on any machine. So far this mower has been great.
How much is it ?
It is $399 at Tractor Supply. So far I am super happy with it and as long as it last many years to come then I would say it is well worth the price. I seen Lowes had some Polar Carts and when I bought this the comparable Polar cart was $635 if I recall correctly. So this was definitely the cheaper option.

?
You say you do towing, but there is no ball on the hitch ? You say you have concerns about the belt drive, but the only belt is in the CVT, the wheels are shaft-driven, been that way for decades. And for shifting gears, welcome to CanAm ! But just wiggle your body (and thus the machine) a little, it'll drop into gear like butter. Also, gear shifts are always done while not moving, and are easier in 2WD. Follow the rules, do the maintenance, it'll last forever !
Oh ok. Thanks for the clarification on the belt/shaft. As far as shifting gears, yes I am always doing them when the machine is not moving. It might have been a bit confusing the way I said in the video that I give it a bit of gas and then shift. I just give it some gas until it moves a tad, let it stop, and then shift. That is only when going from R to P. Don't have to do it everytime but more often than not and it slides on into Park easily. As far as towing goes, I haul firewood with it every week. Anywhere from 1-3 loads depending on how cold it is going to be for the week. I have an Ohio Steel 15 CU FT ATV Dump Cart and I use a hitch pin to attach it to the Can-Am. Haven't had any troubles out of it so far using that way. Also drag things around with it every now and then when cleaning up around the property. As far as the Can-Am goes. I like it else I would not have bought it and I am very pleased with it. This was just my thoughts and opinions on the machine. Super happy with it every time it is pulling something vs me having to push a wheelbarrow lol
