    Ayurvedic everything is what I find beneficial. 😅 I have been using herbal teas, herbal oils, and masks for almost two years consistently. I like the way you worded that about your strands having a better chance of less breakage. That is so true! I can feel when my strands are strengthened by herbs. Ugh, there are so many sacrifices that need to be made to have long thick hair, it’s unique to each person…but I’m also learning when i accept certain things about my hair it gets easier. For my hair, accepting i can no longer go to professional hair braiders bc professional protective styles thin my hair and are harsh on my ends. I have a few protective styles i do REALLY well, so i make the time for it.

      I hear you, professional braiders often don’t consider the health of your hair and ends, so good for you! That’s a real sacrifice with the time investment. Glad you have a few styles up your sleeve. Thanks for watching!

    Thanks for sharing , I’m really inspired to start my hair growth journey with braided extensions . I have mini twist it’s been 2 weeks and the way they look like locks already have me shook. Definitely feel you when you talked about keeping up with the style you’re going for. I never tried braiding my hair w/ extensions but maybe I’ll pay someone and then redo them myself monthly .

    This is actually false please wash your hair weekly your scalp needs to be taken care of . You can literally grow long hair only doing wash and gos it’s not about the hair being put away it’s about not over manipulating the stands .

    • @victoriasvibesss
      @victoriasvibesss 3 місяці тому

      Two things can be true at once: while some may find success with frequent wash-and-go styles, others, particularly those with hair prone to breakage, fine strands, fragility, or type 4b/4c hair, might benefit from protective styling to retain length. This video targets those who are struggling to retain length, experiencing plateaus, and considering alternative methods. Scalp care is indeed important, and everyone should choose what works best for them. Since this video didn’t address washing frequency, it's best not to assume....do what's best for you.

    • @chloefaircloth6448
      @chloefaircloth6448 5 місяців тому

      @Jdavismoranti I have 4c hair, and mini braids just dont lock that quick. Mini TWISTS lock up fast asf though! Things I do: keep hair moisturized and use products with slip. Moisture and slippery products make the braids less likely to lock(in MY experience), because it makes it easier for the hair strands to glide past each other. Also, shampooing braids at the scalp keep the roots from getting knots. Those knots come from sweat/sebum build-up, so shampooing regularly is key
