You can also just change the -16 to 0 and that also will fix the problem. If you noticed the "Y" setting was set to 0.

Working my way through your videos and wanted to drop a compliment. The pace is really refreshing, so often the mouse is flying and there's just too much going on to absorb. I clean my honeycomb and SS shield at least once every week and use my power washer on the shield then take stainless steel spray cleaner and rag to polish it up. I use oven cleaner on the honeycomb on both sides, let it sit for about 10 minutes and power wash it. When everything is clean I use high pressure air to blow out all the water and get it back on the laser. This process only takes me about 30 minutes start to finish.

I use ceramic tiles under my laser bed to make it easier to clean. I use them upside down so unglazed part takes on the laser. When I do a major clean I will vacuum like you do, or scrape off the bits then wash the tiles in car wash soap to get them clean . Then I rotate in other clean tiles to get back to work. This works great and allows for quicker cleaning.

Why not just put a PC of aluminum foil on the bed. Much easier to replace the foil than to clean the bed.
