I hate that he dies. He was such a fantastic godfather. Even before Harry knew the truth, he was protecting him and tried to be there for Harry as much as possible. Sirius loved Harry and wanted to live and protect him, and in the end, he died saving his godson. I wish they got a chance to be a family. I know Harry had Ron, Hermione, the Weasleys, Hagrid, Dumbledore, McGonagall, his other Hogwart friends, and Sirius, James, and Lily's friends, but it's not the same.

Their relationship was so much better in the movie compared to the book.

I freaking hate JK for killing Sirius. I was sad about Fred and Dobby and Remus and even Colin. But Sirius’s death was devastating. He had the most tragic life without any semblance of a happy ending. Miserable childhood, best friend killed, 12 years in Azkaban for a crime he didn’t commit, then on the run alone as a dog eating rats, then all alone in that house full of awful memories all alone. He deserved to be happy.
