They (the crew on the field) has always been able to do that. It's just in this case had there not been a delay in the game I don't think they would have changed it. Know the rules.

I've lost all hope in the titans. I'm with you I just new we had a qb when he came out in that 1st game. Then we saw the rest. We couldn't do any worse with a random guy off the street. Take a look at the $250,000 fine the school is getting as of today, as well as the "recommendation" that the university use its cameras to identify the offending students and ban them from future games. Similar to what Tennessee did vs the Lane Kiffin led Ole Miss in 2021, Texas threw trash on the field like WCW in 90s. But on a serious note, there needs to be a drastic reboot of the officials who call games for the SEC because they have problems that are fixable, but must be resolved ASAP.

The part you missed is the ball has already been placed for the next play. Once the ball has been placed, the call(good or bad) cannot be overturned because it is not reviewable. During the trash hurling and “delay of game” on Texas fans that was not called, the refs looked at the big screen and decided to overturn the call. The refs are also mic’d up and they got assistance from the review booth even though they are not allowed to review it.

Refs actually had the right call but made it the wrong call by overturning it smh.
