Thank you for your understanding. I have a question. My pulser coil or the pick-up coil got bad and the bike cranked but didn't start. I found a few cheap replacement coil like $30-50 part but the oe would cost $150. OE comes with the wire and connector but aftermarket coils have cable only. Can I use the after market one and solder the wire inside the cover. Also what kind of seal should I use to put the cover back? Thank you

Hello and hope the video helps. 21.5 ohms seems high. It should be 3.6-4.8 ohms on the primary and 10.1-15.1 @68 degrees F. I would check the fuses (behind the battery). That’s a lot less work than changing the stator. Specking of the stator, disconnect the white wires from the harness and ohm the wires to each other. 1-2…2-3…3-1. The resistance between any of those wires should be 0.50-0.62 ohms @68 degrees F. Again the ohm on the secondary coil seems high, but it’s strange that you have no spark on both cylinders. Make sure the wires are disconnected from the coil and the stator when testing.

@@gnjadventures thank you for your reply. I took the ignition coil off and that was my reading without being connected to any lines. I found a few videos and it seems like I might have a bad stator or pulser. Or maybe the cdi?? I also like to change my ignition coil since they are out of specks

@grumpyPW. That’s terrible. Have you tried to call Amazon support? I have a Husqvarna automower and it was acting crazy. Found out it was battery that failed. Just a thought.

​@@gnjadventures I have not. the last replacement I got they told me there's no warranty on it at all. I may give them a call. just for fun, See what they have to say.

@@GumbyPW maybe pull the battery and leave it out for a few minutes and then reinstall it. I actually have a video I have made showing how too remove the battery.

@@gnjadventures It does now charge when on and on charger. But still, it won't move. It's basically an echo show on wheels that won't move now.

Hey Buddy, thank you the encouragement. Much appreciated. These bikes are really pretty easy to work on. I am planning on making a video on replacing the headlight bulb, but (like you found out) used a very soft slotted screw and it rounded off. It’s recessed so I can’t get vice grips. Will need to drill and maybe get an easy out to remove it. Or. Heli-coil here I come. I’ll probably add the drilling out part and showing what not to do. lol. Thanks for watching. That took some trial and error. The way I was shown was take a tape measure and measure the top of the front wheel well, put a link to the WD and cinch it up and drop the jack. And measure the top of the wheel well in the front and then the rear on the truck. It shouldn’t be any more than 1/2 -3/4” lower in the back from the front.
