I’m from New York in the metropolitan area and you’re so lucky. We used to have Roy Rogers all over here and they pretty much all went away by the late 1990’s. Some of the best food from a then pretty big fast food chain I ever had. I’m always holding out hope though it will return to New York over here one day.

I put my cat to sleep she was only 15

Today. August 27h2021. I drive with my wife and daughters to the Vet. Our cat, Rufus. ( fat boy,fattard, Roofy) was sick and dying from a disease. It took a toll on his organs. I couldn’t take seeing him suffer. Even with the medicines and procedures that were offered. It would only be a temporary solution to ease the pain within Rufus. We sat together in the room. I cried, my wife cried and my daughters cried. I told my daughters this, “ god gave us these little creatures not because they need us , but because we need them. “ They are our family. My two year old son won’t remember him maybe. But we called Rufus his big brother. Thank you for your real emotion. Your real hurt. Meant allot to me. Helping in the grieving process. I recently had to do this with my cat of 15 years a few days ago. God......it was the HARDEST desicion I had to make and I have experienced grief beyond belief. I miss her so much, but I know she is at peace. And so is Luna. We will meet our babies again in heaven one day. ❤🕊🕆

I'm a Marine veteran and hab saw and experienced many things. I never cried at a funeral, even when my mom died . But when I lost a pet 3 years ago it broke me and put me on my knees. I sobbed like a child and did so daily for over a month. I've never even been so broken and grieved . It's terrible. There is just something special between a man and his closest pet friend. To me they are children and it's like losing a child.
