Ciao Ugo, what to do when after the passagio the voice turns into falsetto ... I am losing the connection to the chest voice ... Thanks !
From the passaggio you should feel the same freedom and lightness of the falsetto but with a little injection of chests voice. At same time you think about yawn and sustain with the right support of diaphragm. Easy to say in words but you should be carefull to do it in the right way!

У меня есть приятель педагог по вокалу, познакомились в театре, когда в хоре работали, выглядит и поет как Джилли) тоже природник, тоже не понимает тех, кто говорит что пение это сложно и что там вообще уметь))) Но я тут не соглашусь с маэстро) понятно что нужно легатто) но грудь это основа даже для тенора) Кьяроскуро + скило + опущенная гортань + стон, как писал в своей книге учитель Корелли и Дель Монако

Grandissimo cantante del repertorio di grazia. Incantevole mezzavoce, proprietà stilistica, intelligenza interpretativa. Il suo Nemorino era qualcosa di straordinario sia vocalmente che nella creazione del personaggio.

Aggiungi Twang alla voce. Il mio canale é in Spagnolo pero sono sicura che troverai molta informazione sul twang in Italiano. L' esercizio più comune é il famoso Nei Nei Nei

It certainly is not "not good", as he himself says! One of the greatest skills Gigli had more than any other tenor (in my opinion), was the ability to sing in so many different ways. His technical mastery allowed him to always maintaining sublime tone and control. His musicality is unmatched by anyone to this day.. incredible.
Io penso che fra i due esempi la differenza non sta nel suono in sé ma solo nel modo. Nel senso, nel primo esempio Gigli mantiene la fluidità dell'emissione che da sola crea il canto mentre nel secondo esempio lui fa direttamente la scansione sillabica col risultato non di suoni aperti ma bensì fatti direttamente e quindi slegati fra loro
