In this tutorial I'll show you how I create a nature scene. BTW: I bought a new microphone and still have to figure out how to adjust the sound quality. That's why it doesn't sound the same through the video. Many thanks to Aaron Westwood, whose picture I used as a reference. You will find a link to his Artstation Profile below. Very nice tutorial!
Why you dont use the ocean physics for water ?
Amazing tutorial. I wanna ask something since im new in blender. At the beginning where you make the ground and cliffs, doesn't it have a little too much subdivisions and faces? Do you do anything like decimate to increase performance? Also, when you make the water, you subdivide the entire rectangle shape so it shows the displacement with more detail because of the added geometry, but since we only care about the top part of the rectangle showing, wouldnt it increase the performance if you only subdivided the top face of the rectangle?
@@tasosplat3589 youre right both times. I have not decimated the terrain. You could do this by adding a decimate modifier. Since i do not have to worry about performance I have to luxury to just work like that. Keep in mind, that you want the volume to still exist on your water. If you would use a plane, theres no volume.
@@etienneman oohh so you have a monster computer haha alright thanks for the confirmation
absolutely love the pace of this. especially how you just show a close up of the shaders instead of taking remaking it slowly like other youtubers do.
Thank you for the great feedback! Thats one thing I always hated when watching tutorials :D
Can you please make a video on how you achieved the color grading process (result)? You copied some stuff and adjusted from original photo, and it was hard to catch up.
Awesome video!!
thank youu :)
En lo personal prefiero por mucho Blender antes que Unreal Engine
Lamborghini should hire you
Nice videos. Thank you! Hope for more tutorials about beach and deep sea scenes.
thanks :) will keep you in mind!

GREAT WORK, nice environment
can i make this in eeve like this quality or close to this quality
you def. can make alot with the new features in eevee. Im not 100% sure about the plant quality in eevee tho. try it out with a small scene. plants, few trees and some rock assets. would love to know if it worked!
Excellent Blender breakdown! Solid work man, looking forward to more!
Happy to hear that! Thanks :))
Excellent video man!
thank you cov!!
Dude, thanks so much for sharing. Your video approach is really cool, showing the process step by step. I've never made a landscape in Blender because it seems a little intimidating, but watching you do while explaining about the process gives me more confidence to try. It doesn't seem thaaat complex. Thinking about it, i guess you just need to know the process, master it, have good references and good assets. I discovered your channel recently and for me it was a find. I think your videos will help a lot. It would be great if you continued posting more frequently :) I wish you all the success in the world, and again, thank you for the video!
Hey man, thanks so much for the awesome comment! Im really glad you enjoyed the video and that it helped make Blender landscapes feel less intimidating. Youre absolutely right - once you break it down step by step, it’s all about learning the process & practicing.. Super happy you found the channel, and I really appreciate the kind words. I will def. do my best to keep posting more often! Wishing you all the success too, and thanks again for the support - it means a lot! :)

cool, 10x for sharing
Totally different house, but okay. Looks fine I guess.
The point was not to recreate it 1:1. I also used different plants and trees ;) My goal was to recreate the basic scene with the lighting and surroundings.
Great work! How much time did the 3d part take?
Thank you! I built the scene twice. First time took me around 4-5 hours & the second time (when i was recording), around 5-6 I think
👍
Holy shit!
crazy
Fantastic work. May I ask where you found the shrubs assets from? Thanks...
the ones at the beginning are from Botaniq, late on in the video i used them from blenderkit
@@etienneman Thanks for the response and again, amazing work.

Well, I do have all the recordings for a tutorial ready. Will see how the video performs. perhaps ill do a tutorial on it :)
@@etienneman please do. this is amazing. i literally took this month off from work with the time i had available to be able to learn blender because i really like what i can do with it. a tutorial like this would be fantastic.
Really freakin dope!
Thanks zirc <3
Hey mate, thank you for tutorials ! do you know how to export geometry in One unic mesh ? (because most of time is exporting in differents meshes...)
Man do you happen to know how to export to 4k or 8k? Or is it possible only in the 2024 version? It's just that 2023 versions don't have 1/4 and 1/8px
Totally relate. I must be part Swiss!😎
Thank you very much for sharing
Excellent Tutorial! For future ones, just please don't use background music with lyrics in it. It is really distracting and makes it harder to understand you. I would prefer no music at all, but that's a matter ouf your personal taste of course.
Thank you for the hint! Will def. lookout for music without lyrics.
thank you very much !
Great tutorial, could you please make more world creator Tutorial
i dont understand how the UV are applied, they are so perfect, i cant get the same UV at all, with box projection
i know what you mean. i also have the problem with various textures. what helps is: try several different textures. with some it works perfectly and with others it doesn't work at all. but also play with the scaling.
