Comparing voice 1 of the Killswitch Engage set on the bridge vs the tone of Duncan Distortion bridge. For the record I don't know anything about audio production, this was a comparison I was curious to a/b on my Schecter Hellraiser Extreme guitar

Amazon guitar pickups . $15. how do they sound? well find out ! You can find these Chinese pickups all over the internet . Ali express , eBay etc .. but I got these on Amazon . They're a bargain , I don't think you can find a better price for a set of gold covered pickups. But obviously they arent professional level sounding pickups . They're probably very similar to stock pickups if not maybe ...

Messing around with some avenged sevenfold riffs that I just learned . The Dimarzio super distortion is a really nice pickup , it's probably my favorite pickup in this guitar so far , I don't think I plan on changing it unless I can find something better , which I haven't so far . I love how it sounds smooth but not muddy, it's perfect for hard rock and metal , it also sounds freaking awesome o...
Cliffs of Dover - Dimarzio Gravity Storm Pickup DP253 wired in parallel

Experimenting with a Gravity Storm pickup wired in parallel. Parallel wiring brightens up the sound and cuts out some of the mids/bass and also reduces the output. Doing this makes it kind of similar to a coil tap sound but still hum cancelling ... Overall I find wiring it this way really makes it sound nice and sweet sounding. This pickup already has really high mids, so wiring it in parallel ...

Here I have a liquifire in an epiphone les paul black beauty. the "pickup picker" brought this one up a lot so I tried it out.. I had the pickup too close to the strings on the clean settings, and I lowered it for the lead sounds.. So the cleans aren't the best here and sound a bit boomy but sound much better after lowering the pickup Personally I think this pickup sounds pretty warm and thick,...

    • @jayz6008
      @jayz6008 Рік тому

      Voice 1 of the bridge gets pretty saturated and compressed . It’s really tight , but my favorite was voice 2 since it was a little bit bigger sounding and less compressed . The tone of the bridge I would say sounds dark , thick , but still tight , very cool metal pickup . The neck pickup I think is the same as a classic neck pickup , there’s no difference I believe , just a gold pickup cover . Its lower output , but it has a nice singing quality to leads and has a nice balance of brightness and warmth .. I did not have these pickups coil tapped , but the option is there . These technically only have 2 voices per pickup unlike a lot of other Fluence pickups which have 3 , Tosin Abasi, Classics , etc . I really liked these pickups but I sold them and replaced them for the Abasi pickups I wanted the extra voices for more versatility and I’m very happy with them

    If i want a pickup with a sound hot like JB of seymour duncan, but a sound agressive and active too, with coil split or coil tap option, this pickup do that? Thanks

    • @MontanaroPablo
      @MontanaroPablo Рік тому

      hi, i have JB and Will Adler, they sound practically identical, JB and Will Adler Voice 1, have about the same level of output, maybe a little higher on the JB, these fishmans are a reproduction of the JB with the original passive feeling, sadly they have no active feel or anything, the fishmans are worth considering if you are looking for the selectable voice 2 option, however the will adlers voice 1 are identical to the modern voice 2 which are identical to the JBs. If you are looking for a more active feeling than JB but giving up the coil split there are LiveWire Dave Mustaine, an active version of the JB/Jazz set.
