Hopefully you see this comment. I would like to use a Sigma 100-400mm full frame lens on the S5 II. I have RAW and JPEG and L24 MP settings. I take a picture at 400mm, but want to take the next picture at 600mm. With Sony I only have to assign APSC to one button and do nothing else. With Panasonic I would first have to go into the menu and switch to M or S quality. Then I want to take the next picture again at 400mm with quality L, so I would have to go back into the menu and change. There must be another option than having to go to the menu every time you switch to Crop APSC. Thanksfor a reply or Video how it works with fullframe lenses
Hello! Although I can't guarantee that the photo will be 600mm, there is a way. First, look at the top of your camera, on the right side. You will see a row of three buttons: White Balance (WB), ISO, and the Exposure Compensation button, shown with a "+" and "-" symbol. Press and hold the Exposure Compensation button. After about 1.5-2 seconds, a menu should pop up. You cannot access this menu any other way. You will see that there are 3 pages. Do this: Page 1>Image Quality 2 (page)>Picture Size. Select Picture Size, and the menu should disappear. Now, when you click on the Exposure Compensation button again, a small menu should appear with the options for Large, Medium, and Small quality. Hope this helps! If you have any other questions, feel free to ask.
Will an auto focus lens ...focus correctly please?? Meaning will the camera focus correctly be ause of the vignette? Thnaks!
If you are asking whether it will focus if you don't do anything about the vignetting caused by the aps-c lens, then yes, it will focus correctly. The camera should have no problem with the vignette.
@gabrielsagerSS so if i am in 4k -50fps or 60fps it wil focus as if it was a full frma lens . Thanks
@@KurtMIcallefchannel yes you are correct. The focus should work even in video
Quick and easy. No fuss no frills. Just the info I was looking for. Thanks. 🙏
Thank you for the feedback! I appreciate it.
It worked perfectly thank you
Awesome! I'm glad it worked.
Does this also stop the auto shutoff after 30mins? I am using a canon r6 mark II with micro hdmi to a switcher but the camera keeps shutting off after about 30 mins even with power saving turned off. Ideally I need it to last about an hour to 2 hours
After researching, I found a possible solution. As I am unable to test this currently, I will link an article I found that might solve your issue. It is for the Canon R6, not the Mark II, but it should work the same. If not, let me know. I will also get back to you once I have had a chance to test it for you. Here is the article: community.usa.canon.com/t5/EOS-DSLR-Mirrorless-Cameras/How-to-turn-off-auto-sleep-during-livestream-on-Canon-R6/m-p/480003 Hope this helps!
Hi! Please tell me, if I put an autofocus aps-c lens on the S5ii, for example, sigma 30mm f1.4, can it be turned on in Full mode? Or will the camera not allow you to do this with an autofocus lens? It is clear that there will be a vignette. But after that, I want to select the High stabilization mode and the vignette should go away, and the total crop will be 1.44, not 1.44 crop on 1.5 crop.
Alrighty. So, if you put an aps-c lens on the camera, you will be able to turn it on. However, there will be a vignette. So, in short, you can put any aps-c that has the correct mount on there, and it will turn on, and function normally. You won't have to worry about the camera rejecting your lens. I'm not entirely clear on how you are going to crop it, but if you know what you are doing, then I trust you! If you have more questions just ask!
@@gabrielsagerSSYou probably didn't understand the question unfortunately. I can put a lens like sigma 30 1.4. it will be in aps-c mode. I'm adding high electronic stabilization to it and there will be an additional 1.5 crop on aps-c. This is not encouraging. And I would like to know if it is possible to put an aps-c lens in full frame mode, then set the electronic stabilization to high and get a total crop of 1.4, not 1.5 to 1.4
@@Damian-i2e I'm sorry I didn't understand. Let me do some testing myself, and I will get back to you.
@@gabrielsagerSS Okay, I'll be waiting, thanks!
@Damian-i2e After testing with my canon ef-s lens adapted to the lumix s5 ii, I figured out what you meant. However, this only applies to video mode. In short, there is not a way to crop it to 1.4 vs 1.5. After switching the image area to FULL vs APS-C the only selectable options in the IS page were the operation mode, the selection between body and lens IS, and the e-stabilization. High is the "lowest" you can go without a full vignette. Even then, I still saw a slight vignette at the corners, although nothing to worry about. I'm sorry I couldn't help you fix your problem, if you have any other questions, feel free to ask!
Amazing, thanks heaps for the video :)
No problem! Glad you liked it!
hi sir. motor 050 50T vs 66T which is stronger?
Hello! The 50t motor will give you more torque than the 66t, however, the 66t will run faster, and is much much stronger than the original 88t motor. I personally like the 66t and would feel no need to switch to a 50t, but that is up to you!
@@GabrielSagerShot Thank you for your advice
You are welcome!@@ThấmDầnTừngTừ
Does it also charge via the USBC cable? Or are battery swaps required?
Yes, the Canon R6 Mark II will charge via usb-c. Make sure to use Canon chargers, or reputable brand chargers though!
@@gabrielsagerSS Thanks!
Awesome man. Thank you a lot. It’s hella big lens for small setup hahaa
Glad you liked it! 😀
i put the 66t and it fried right away dident even move it and it started smoking
If you did not press the throttle, and it started smoking, (and you are sure it is the motor) then it could have been a battery problem. Something might not have been connected properly. Thanks for the feedback!
Great job! Keep up the good work!
Thanks!
Remeber the rest of the quote. Jack of all trades, master of none, but still better than a master of one.
I have never actually heard the rest of the quote!
I absolutely love my Sigma 24-105, I replaced my broke Canon 24-105 with the Sigma. And I like it a lot better! Thanks for the video! A lot of people dislike it because it only goes to f4.0, but I have the Canon24-70 f2.8, but you don't always have to just blow away the background with blur. Sometimes it;s good to show where you are! Thanks! I just subbed to your channel, keep up the good work!
Thanks so much! Really appreciate your story!
I just made one to use it today.🎉🎉
That's awesome! Glad you found this video helpful!

If you have a 3D printer, you can 3D print the body. The file is on Thingiverse, I'll put the link in the description below. Thanks for the feedback!
All of the filming, I did myself, and I edited it on Davinci Resolve 18 if that's what your asking.
I'm not entirely sure what you mean by "what site."
