A Fantastic Friday at UC Berkeley: Day in a Minute
No classes today! Finished some physics homework, then headed to Richmond Field Station to work on rocket parts. A lot of things came together, including a gimbal, engine assembly, and testing our recovery system. After In-N-Out, headed to my friend Sean's birthday party, then back home.

8:00 am physics lecture to start off a long day. Another physics lecture, attempting (and failing) to finish physics homework due on Friday, and a trip to Richmond Field Station to work on some projects for SEB until 2am. I slept a little too well that night...

Hey Brandon - question for you. Do you worry about your bike being stolen? Do most people have bikes? Sending my son in August and trying to figure out whether or not to send him with a bike?
A lot of people have some sort of personal transport, bikes and electric scooters being the most common. Theft isn't an issue on campus mostly, but the area around campus is a different story. My advice would be to bring a strong u lock, look up videos of how to lock a bicycle correctly (you'd be surprised how many people get it wrong), and never leave your bike outside overnight, on campus or off campus. Pretty simple stuff, and having a bike halves the travel times on campus. Well worth it.

Does riding your bike from your dorm to campus help avoid the homeless? They seem to be everywhere there.
Yes it does, I find it particularly comforting when I'm biking back to my dorm late at night. But honestly the better reason to get a bike (or something similar) is so that you can get around campus really fast. Also, you can avoid everyone trying to give you fliers for their clubs haha

I was a straight A student but I ended up getting c's and f's the first year from my original in person school i still had decent grades but then i moved to online (k12) and its so crappy since most teachers dont even communicate the right way they just teach us the things but now exactly how to do it, or how to use it in daily life... and plus THE HOMEWORK SUCKS... and we are supposed to know everything about the homework. Also learning is so hard since learning on a screen is so much harder due to: most people dont even care cause they can just turn it on and then just not pay attention... and plus CHEATING. I feel like school is supposed to be in person, idk just me?
