My podcast guest is Tammy McCann, Chicago-based jazz vocalist, composer and educator. Ms. McCann began her singing career in the late 1990's as a gospel & opera performer, touring Europe with bands including Wonderbrass and the Voices of Glory. Most recently, in 2019, she debuted a tribute to the legendary gospel singer Mahalia Jackson in the musical production Yes - Mahalia, which was performed in 2022 at the Musical Institute of Chicago. Her latest release is Do I Move You from 2023, which is a fusion of her musical passions. We will listen to portions of 2 songs from this release.

Pavle Zvekic is a classically trained, Serbian jazz pianist and composer. He is a graduate of the Berklee College of Music in Boston with a bachelor's degree in music performance, and is now currently enrolled in the Berklee Global Jazz Institute. In November of 2023 he released an album entitled Small Hours. He is also Managing Director of the Youth Jazz & Rock Festival in Serbia.
