My First Stand Up Comedy Set 4/9/14
Переглядів 20910 років тому
This is my first time performing stand-up comedy at an open mic. I was pretty nervous and brain dumped about 2 minutes of my bit but I think I was still able to make it flow.
You fly how an eagle

Miles is so dope, man. I got a chance to meet him at zhills last weekend. Absolute legend.
He is. Also very nice and a great coach.
Magnique chute libre
Watching this as I fall asleep. Can’t wait for my turn
I remember those days.
There's been like five people that's passed away there on that twin falls bridge Brandon he was a newlywed his girlfriend survived his parachute wouldn't open a man that's 72 years old passed away their his parachute didn't open and the list goes on and on there's been a lot of people that passed away their I always wondered why people's parachute would not open is it because they're not packing their parachutes right or what
I’m not experienced enough or familiar with the incidents to really weigh in.
This guy looks like me on my first free fall jump. I happened to survive four hundred and four jumps (who's counting anyway) and I proudly hold SCS #380 from the stone age jumping days. The SCS meant you entered the star at the #8 position or above which took some relative work expertise, or so we thought.
You can see the moment you stop chipping towards end of E1. Looks super stable man, great job!
Thanks! It was nice once I got rid of that potato chipping.
Hell yeah dude, you still jumping and where at?
🔥
Promo sm
Got two tandems under my belt, one normal and one training. Got signed off to move onto my second training tandem before ground school and onto AFF. SUPER STOKED!
Hell yeah!!
@@Mark.LaBarge Update! Passed each AFF level on first go, signed off on cleared for solos! Just gotta rack up some jumps for my A license!
@@jacklipps9971 keep it up!
folks....best advise is master your pre-jump EPs. understand your LZ approach...don't fuck up your final leg on landing...meaning don't flair too early, legs together, knees up the last 15 ft to the ground. way too many ankle injuries for beginning CAT jumpers.
That is totally awesome! What would you say was the most difficult part during the first few jumps ?
AAF...final descent into the box...make sure you fully understand flair procedures...and flair too early...PLF your legs up towards your chest the final 15 ft. on my first jump, i did follow what I noted...high and low grade 2 ankle sprains. friendly advice. resumed 2 months later...made my next jump....now on jump 22 to my CAT A.
The hardest part of the first few jumps is making sure you don’t get sensory overloaded. At least for me. Stay focused!
How many jumps did you do before taking this
I did one tandem, took ground school, one more tandem then cat A.
Just signed up for the AFF course and quite excited. Videos like yours helped me to make the decision.
I’m glad I can help. I hope your progression is going well!
Would you recommend it? I have been thinking about it for a long time, but I am not sure because it seems to be a very expensive hobby.
Hey Mark awesome Video and well done it looked great. I do my AFF course next Month, i am so excited to do my first Solo jump!
Just now seeing these posts. You ever do AFF?
Awesome man, you’re doing great.
I appreciate it!
Just saw this. How do you like Sky Dive Utah? Would like to get some time at iFly before I do my tandem when the weather warms up
SDU is great with some world class jumpers!
I did a tandem. Now I'm trying to get the balls to do a solo.
You can do it. Tell them to push you out the door! 😂
@@Mark.LaBarge that's what I told them the first time! They laughed. I laughed, nervously. 😅 the jump was great. It was like a damn dream!
@@shockwave6416 time to take AFF!
@@Mark.LaBarge yeah. Lol. They do IAD at my DZ
@@shockwave6416 that blows
