Can you make a video on hypertonic muscles caused by trauma/injury/surgery? I can only find videos about hypertonic muscles caused by stroke. I’m 28 and there must be other people with similar physical injuries.

Ok mate, what about those of us who've been dropped by the medical fraternity and cannot afford basic physiotherapy let alone access to 'robotics' and the like. Those of us who've been practically abandoned by family and friends due to the fact they just don't get that stroke is a 'brain injury' not a physical one. Therefore, we're no longer of any use to them or society and it's our own fault for not trying hard enough or whatever. As someone else has already commented 'Dr. Steve Wolf' "You had a stroke ave yer"? Obviously not in which case you just sound patronising and sanctimonious. Unless you can come up with something that can 'really' help us (within our means), just shut up and stop making these pointless videos please.

My fingers of my right hand only grasp but no release. However I do have limited right arm and hand movement. Can botox make my right arm and hand move significantly better🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔????? I had a hemorrhagic stroke August 27, 2022 Saturday. I couldn't walk for several months. However, by December of 2022, I was able to walk with a walker or cane. In 2023, I was able to walk without a walker or cane, though I definitely still need improvement for my right leg too. However, it's not bad as my right arm and hand, which is the main things giving me problems in 2024. Yera💧.

I am having my 3rd set of Arizona AFO's being constructed next month. They help me so much.

No Doctor can tell a patient their limits. That's something the patient has to figure out. Remember Rome wasn't built in a day so recover takes time and effort with lots of repeated movements over several years' time I follow these rules and I try to avoid as much stress as possible while recovering ftom my stroke. It's been seven months since my stroke and I notice small improvements almost every few months

Is there an expansion of the Modus Hand that can be used to train the individual fingers to regain their functionality to a level as close to normal as possible?

For games like Uno it would be cool if it could be played with real life people as the opponents. Then the patient can play their deck using their hand to make some on screen selections. With their foot then taking over to handle the therapy side of it. Ditto for the slow motion pong game. Maybe a little challenging to come up with interesting games when all you can do is raise and lower a foot or a hand. Is there a way to control a jigsaw puzzle using this apparatus? Like for Windows or whatever OS this is based off?

I’m Tim, I’ve had HSP since the age of 2. It’s progressed my entire life.. I’m 54 years old, still able to walk, but balance is completely fucked so I use a cane .. but I’ve never met anyone with HSP That has a significant speech em pediment.. this fascinates me and terrifies me at the same time..
